  1. Wow! So many options I never even heard or thought of! I will look into all of these options!
  2. I feel very isolated on my days off. Everyone else is working and I feel very lonely.
  3. Does anyone know of non-nursing government jobs? I would like to do a government job that involves nursing but not bedside. Are there any jobs like this that do not involve joining the military? I would not be able to pass the physical that is why I am asking.
  4. I live in eastern pa area and would like to maybe go into pharmaceuticals or medical products.
  5. I am thinking about leaving bedside nursing because of the stress and the way managers treat nurses. I was thinking about sales. Anyone here in sales? Can you tell me about this and do you like it?
  6. Hi Ruby Vee! Thanks for replying to my post. I guess what I meant by un-biased is that I don't feel comfortable discussing my fears/sadness with people that I know. I just feel like everyone is so proud of me and I don't want to ruin that picture for them. I'm looking for some career advice but I need to make sure I am happy to be most successful.
  7. I really don't know how to put this. I feel really depressed by this profession and I can't believe I have to do this for the rest of my life. I am mid 20's and I feel like 40 more years of being a nurse is going to make me crazy. I have family members, neighbors, and friends that are nurses and they don't seem to feel this way. I try not to be too honest because I don't want them to think I'm crazy. I feel like it's the same thing every day and it's scary at the same time. I guess I am looking for a non-biased MENTOR who can help me through this difficult time. I lay in bed and cry on my days off.
