Hey Guys I've applied to my school's nursing program (will know if I'm accepted in a few days). I've already completed all my pre reqs with the exception of microbiology. As according to the school's nursing/prerequisites schedule, it is optional to have Nursing 101 , Micro and Psychology done within the first semester. I've already done the psychology, so therefore its just the Microbiology and Nursing 101 I'll have to focus on. The question is : How hard is it to have both Micro amd Nursing 101 done during the same semester? Did you find it easier doing the Microbiology alone during summer? Also what grades did you get? P.S : The academic advisors at my school all recommend that I take the microbiology over the summer, so that I can focus on just the nursing courses. But I'm seriously wanting to take a vacation for atleast a month before nursing school kicks in, (long overdue) plus I'm getting to find out I'll have to pay out of pocket if i take the Micro over the summer , versus doing it with the Nursing 101 in the fall, where my financial aid would cover my entire tuition. Please help !
