Hey everyone! I am a student from UBC (graduating this May with BSc.) with a lot of work/co-op experience (16 months) in research but not exactly in health care... I am currently volunteering at two residential care homes as well as for CBS but I have only just started and I am worried that it may not be enough. ): I also have the same question as Seji regarding GPA. How does BCIT calculate it and on what scale? Does anyone know if they also look at cumulative GPA (in addition to prerequisite course grades) because my upper year grades are great but my lower year grades aren't. Does anyone know the average GPA from past intakes? Lastly, even though the BCIT Nursing site stated that there is no "waitlist", I heard that if you don't make it into your chosen intake, they may admit you for the next intake? I am assuming this is only if you are listed high enough on the waitlist but still don't get in? By the way, thank you Seji for making this thread as I don't have to stress alone anymore. :)
