UIC NURSING Orientation
Hi there! I'm accepted to transfer to UIC Chicago for BSN. I have a problem with the orientation: I won't be able to attend it because I am out of the country. The nursing admissions mentioned before that the orientation was necessary and is required before school. Has anyone here ever had the orientation experience? What will I be missing and can I catch up if I do miss something? I've emailed and called and left a voicemail and they never replied. Thanks guys! Insert other media P.S.: I already signed the forms needed because they gave it to me when they knew I wouldn't be able to attend. However, they weren't able to contact me back after further inquiry.

UIC NURSING- Interview
Hi there, thank you! Yes, the same exact predicament happened to me last year. According to my experience, you will have to move your application to the next year and do everything all over again. To be honest with you, it sucks. What I did after finding out was contacting nursing admissions about it and asking them if I can take those summers during the summer term. However, they said no- and then proceeded to rescind my application. My tip would be: take the missing prerequisites that you have during the summer term. In that way, you will have more time to work, save up, and improve (if necessary) your documents and essays before nursing starts. If nursing is your goal, don't give up and try again. Good luck on your journey!

UIC NURSING- Interview
Hey everyone! I’m reapplying for Fall 2019 Nursing at the chicago campus and I’m just a bit worried because last year I was sent an invitation for the interview this week (for Fall 2018) but as of now, I still haven’t received one. If one of you guys are applying for 2019 can you guys pls reply if you have received an invitation? Thanks!

UIC BSN Fall 2019
Hi! I'm reapplying as well. It takes a lot of process to do all the requirements unlike other schools so make sure that all of it is met. The reason why I had to reapply was because I missed a prerequisite subject due to the fact that I was from an International school and they gave me the letter for the credited subjects later after when I already got accepted. Which is why mine got really complicated. Make sure your standing in school is great as well. I had a 3.65 converted GPA and I got accepted at the Urbana campus so I'm not sure how grades are in the case of us getting accepted. Now, I'm reapplying at the Chicago campus. Good luck to all of us!

UIC Nursing- Which site is better?
Hi guys! I want to apply for Fall 2019 with Nursing as my major at UIC. However, I'm still really unsure of which site to choose as my first priority.. I applied before at the Urbana branch and got accepted but I lacked three subjects for my evaluation of credits so I had to take some more subjects and now that I have more time, I just want to make sure I get to the best site. If I choose Chicago, will I be able to experience more activities related to my Major than Urbana? I also came to learn that the tuition is still the same regardless of which site you're in? What do you guys think? Thank you!!!
