  1. nursekelly, how are you? Did you get tested?. The same hppened to me. I was stuck with Hep C+ patient lancet 4 weeks ago. I am going crazy. I cry often. I have nausea ( Alhough my doctor says that it can be from stress) It is scary. Tell me how you were waiting for the results. Did you have any "imagenary" symptoms? Please write. Gilda

  4. 4 weeks ago I had a needlestick after lancet fingerstick. The patient was tested and had +hepC. Since that time I feel sick. Mentally, anxiety and constant nausea. I cry every second. can't function. My doctor said that he will do blood tests in 6 week. Meanwhile, while waiting I am crying, nauseaus and started to feel slight pain in my neck lympthnodes. Can it be psycological? Did anyone was in the same situation? Please help with sharing your experience. Thanks.
  5. Thanks for response. I hope your 3m test and HIV test come back negative. I am still nervous. By reading different personal stories make me more calm. I am presently gettinf psycotherapy because because of my stress I can't function. I can't sleep, or eat. I wonder what can be done to improve my immune system. I heard that if the person got virus the body can clear it up. My accupanturist and herbal MD states there are herbs to improve immune system Does anyone knows about it.
  6. LPNtoRn, How are you doing. Did you get tested for Hep C? Because I am in the "same shoes" right now and very worry. Please respond. Thanks
  7. Thanks for response. I reported my accident right away. and was on profilactic treatment for HIV for 3 days(couldn't take it anymore). Today my doc told me that the patient is hepC+. I feel nauseous all the time. My doc told me it can be related to extreme stress. Please help me with your information. My doc told me it is a low risk to get HepC from lancet with limited amount of blood. I also have dull pains in my upper quadrant which also can be psycological. I can't eat, sleep or function. Please respond.
