  1. I'm in MD but I'm sure it may be similar. First, go thro Pearson Vue website and after payment and all it will indicate a new ATT is needed. For us in MD, MBON sends us the paperwork required (and your failure result!) through mail. Then, mail them back a check and the paperwork completed. After Pearson and BON have been paid, then you will receive an ATT. For MD, you would have to submit another passport sized photo but not commit another background checks or anything like that. Hope that helps.
  2. That sounds torturous and thanks for the advice. My friend went thro something kind of similar and was so stressed about it. Anyone else got any good advice or stories that ended in defeat or better yet, victory?
  3. Just an update. I called again today and held for 16 minutes and someone answered. Was on the line with her for less than 5 minutes and 20 minutes after hanging up, received my ATT. She was very nice and made me feel valued as a caller. However, the amount of time and effort endured to finally get a hold of someone is just ridiculous. Fortunately, I was able to call almost every day but ain't nobody got time for all of that. Thank you God because I was going to take tomorrow off and drive to B-more.
  4. It's been over 2 weeks since I registered with Pearson and sent in all paperwork to MBON. MBON already cashed my check. Still no ATT. I've called on 3 separate days and hit "1 1 2" which goes to the incompetent (would that even be the word if they don't answer though?) line to check on ATTs, statuses, etc. Anyway, the longest I was on hold before I hung up was 2.5 hours. I then pressed another line to get directed to the "general questions" imbecile who was rude and wouldn't let me talk but as soon as I said "ATT" she said "I'm transferring you" before I could even complain that "UM HELLO YOU IDIOT THEY DON'T PICK UP THE PHONE." Someone on Google doubted they were on a call queue and that's exactly how it is. You get the generic "your call is important to us blah.' Lies. Either they are understaffed or don't give a flying f about their job. However, after reading many horror stories and hearing from other fellow nurses, it's safe to say they just don't care. Forgot how, but I received a telephone number for a specific associate at MBON who had her own voicemail. Left a message last week and still had not heard back. I left a detailed msg that required all of what they needed and asked she either call me back or send me my damn ATT. I am currently working M-F fulltime and what do you know, they're closed on the wknds. I don't exactly live down the street from Baltimore but I guess I'll round up some friends and make a day of it. The trouble and unprofessionalism of these inadequate creatures. Hope they don't real help sometime in their future.
