  1. nonname replied to Sudsy's topic in Camp
Hi! I know this was a few months ago, but I've been doing a lot of research on this topic and found that often camps will have a nurse and a nursing student to assist. Hope this helps!
  2. Another English CEGEP that's just on the south shore of Montreal with a great nursing program is Champlain College. :)
  3. Yep! Both options are almost the same except either you spend 2 years in university and 3 in CEGEP or 3 in university and 2 in CEGEP. If you choose the 2 year CEGEP option you need to take health or pure and applied sciences to be able to apply to uni in nursing. Personally I'm choosing the 3 year CEGEP option as university is more expensive and you avoid all the unnecessary classes not related to nursing (which in my opinion are harder to get high grades in).
  4. Hi! Sorry this is really late, but most CEGEPs require a minimum of 75% for chemistry and math TS or SN (SN is preferred). The application process is pretty simple, but for your letter of intent don't forget to include previous volunteering experience as that is what they really look for (so I've been told by my academic advisers). I hear that John Abbott is good, but it's very intense and you don't really have much of life outside of school. I chose Champlain College (which is on the south shore of Montreal) because I've heard some pretty good things and their simulation lab seems pretty good.
