  1. As far as I know the in person classes are in your third year and it's only a couple days a year. I didn't accept the spot so I don't know for sure
  2. My interview was good. Super short, only scheduled for 15 min but it took more like 10. I'm trying to think of the questions they asked me.... I think it was something like how was I going to deal with the stress and time commitment of grad school. I think there was one other question but i don't remember. I was accepted but I didn't take the spot. I've decided to go MD instead of NP. I know a couple people in their masters program. One of them really likes it because it's a self directed program. Tech doesn't micromanage you at all. She also doesn't feel like she's had a hard time getting preceptors. The other person doesn't like it because she feels like they don't teach you well, they just expect you to teach yourself and she has struggled to find preceptors. I think your experience in the program really just depends on what kind of learner you are.
  3. I applied to Texas Tech's new BSN to DNP program to start Fall 2018. I got the email a few days ago to schedule my interview. I was just wondering who out there is also interviewing. What are your qualifications? I'm nervous that I'm not going to get in because I only have a year of RN experience. My GPA for my BSN is okay at a 3.7. I don't have a ton of leadership experience or academic awards though. Anyways, who else is hoping to get into Texas Tech's BSN-DNP program? Or does anyone have any advice for the interview?
