  1. Thanks for the advice! I'll make sure to do some more research :)
  2. Hi Everyone, I was hoping to get some words of wisdom from fellow nurses. I am a new nurse and I am currently working on a cardiac floor. I am having some personal crisis. I don't really enjoy my job. I was hoping to see if anyone had anything to share for some potential new areas I could explore. I am no stranger to healthcare. I was a CNA for three years before becoming an RN. I worked on both neuro and cardiac units while being a CNA. However, it was a different hospital than where I am currently working as an RN. I don't think other units will satisfy what I would like, if that makes sense. My family also is in the healthcare industry. My sister a nurse in DNP school, my father a nurse for many years, and my brother is a radiologist technician. I enjoy helping people but I feel floor nursing is not for me. I know however, I do need to stay for experience. I was just seeking advice to research new areas to explore once I gain my minimal experience. What my brother does in radiology very much interests me, but I don't know if there are any positions in the realm of nursing there. I think I would enjoy some sort of diagnostic area. Any help, advice, anything is appreciated. Thank you!
