Felony
Being that the felony was filed so long ago and it was not a violent crime, my guess is that you would have been cleared by the BON. Sure you would have to jump through extra hoops, but it's a small price to pay for that mistake that you made. Do some research before completing any applications to see how deep they check your records and what files they have access to next time. Best of luck

Combat Sports and bruises affecting career
I would love to not have to explain myself. I am just wanting to avoid the weird looks and being asked if I need resources (domestic abuse or something)

Combat Sports and bruises affecting career
I have recently graduated and will begin my RN residency at a hospital later this month. Now that I have the income and more free time, I would like to finally join a combat sport such as Boxing or Muay Thai. But I am concerned that my managers would not like it when I show up to work with swelling and bruising on my face. Of course, I would let them know that I have joined an organized combat sport and that the inevitable would occasionally happen. Does anyone partake in this hobby or has a coworker that does? What should I expect from this conversation, or how should I go about this?

Help with Clinical Nurse Reflection Assignments
Ok, I did copy/paste the questions from the assignment. But I have to compile the information from 3 nurses and write a three-page report including my reactions and if it changes my perspective on anything. If anything, you're being lazy for such a short response

Help with Clinical Nurse Reflection Assignments
Hello all new and seasoned clinical nurses. I have an assignment for one of my courses in the nursing program which entails interviewing staff nurses from acute care facilities/ hospitals. I am reaching out to allnurses because I believe that I can get a broader perspective of the nursing profession instead of just Texas Nurses. So if you would like to reply with your unique experience throughout your career as a registered nurse, as well your gripes and why you would not trade it for any other career path, you will be helping me further understand nursing and not to mention get a grade on the assignment. Here are a few example questions to answer: What led you into nursing as a career? Have you enjoyed nursing? What do you find most challenging about being a nurse? What do you have planned for your nursing future? What is one thing you wish you had the power to change in nursing? For more seasoned nurses you might ask about some of the biggest changes in nursing? What do they like about the type of patients they currently care for? Where do they see nursing as a profession in 20 years, 50 years etc.? Would they be happy if their children went into nursing as a career? Did your nurse look sincere when answering your questions or do you think the fact you are a student nurse altered what they were saying? Thank you in advance!
