  1. I interviewed the first week. The waiting was hard!
  2. I did too! ? Congrats! And congrats to everyone else who’s gotten in! Good luck to everyone waiting for some news
  3. Did you get a phone call already on Friday the 5th along with the others? Or did you just randomly got accepted via email today?
  4. Do you mean this past Monday? I don’t think anyone has heard back (besides the initial few)
  5. Same. I felt okay about the interview and answered their clinical questions correctly so I know there’s nothing else I could’ve done! Just pray and wait ??
  6. I interviewed at the beginning and they told me 2-3 weeks ?‍♀️
  7. Yes zoom! Do y’all know what order they send interview invites? Is it alphabetical? Some have not received one yet.
  8. Hey! Longshot you’ll see this, but I’m applying in 2023. Well I was curious how low your overall GPA was? I saw you got in! Congrats! My overall is just under a 3.0 (including first attempted courses, anything I failed that doesn’t count towards nursing BSN), but I am like you, repeated courses and changed my major! Nursing GPA is >3.6 and science GPA would be 3.6 if original attempts weren’t counted. So I’m nervous!
  9. Aleblanc29, oh great that's awesome!! Phew that eliminated a whole lot of stress haha
  10. Aleblanc29, yes you need all your official transcripts with your Charity application. They cannot be in PDF form, they have to be stamped and sealed. When you turn your application in, they check everything right there. They open your official transcripts and stamp them as "received" and sign them. Did you attend college in Louisiana in 2013? If I were you, I'd do an internet official transcript request right now and select the option to pick it up in person. Usually you can pick up an official transcript in person the same day you order it. It only takes a second to print and stamp! But yes, snail mail takes longer :/
  11. Ashleym611.. include all your official transcripts from previous colleges with your application for Charity! Just hand deliver them with everything else.
  12. Yeah Hbabin.. the first sheet I was given several months ago had it, but the new updated version on Delgado's website has it under prospective students of the RN program. We still get our points for core nursing curriculum, but they omitted the overall GPA category.
  13. I used the Elsevier study prep book and the app Delgado and LSU suggested, Pocket Prep. It's a bunch of practice quizzes. I did find the actual test to be a bit different than the practice tests. And I haven't had A&P2 yet, but I at least went over some general info fom A&P2
  14. Oh wow I took the HESI today too! It was a little more difficult than I anticipated, but I wouldn't say hard. It's been a very long time since I've taken Biology. And I just finished A&P this last semester and made A's in both lecture/lab. I still found those sections stumped me on a few questions. Anyways, I made a 91.33 and I'm happy with that. Good luck!
  15. Hey! I'm not sure about the D's and F's counting the next application period. But I have heard from 2 advisors that the profile score is mostly all they are concerned about. There is not interview process :/
  16. Oh wow that is very odd. Sounds like they are very disorganized if the Assistant dean is saying one thing, and the advisor is saying something else. Not sure who to believe! In any event, think it's unprofessional and not at all fair to change the dates of the apps after the spring semester started. I.e.:registered for our spring classes with the knowledge we could take summer classes. Then they change the date? Something like that should get grandfathered in. Or have a year's notice.
  17. Vstokes, I talked to the Assistant Dean at Charity. I had first talked to the advisor at Delgado's main campus, and she could not give me a straight answer. The Assistant Dean at Charity told me they are going to consider our courses from the summer. No one gave me a straight answer about profile scores, but she did say they changed the dates last minute and this will be the LAST summer they take our summer classes. So if you haven't spoken to someone from Charity, I would call them. Maybe if enough of us complain, they will do something about it.
  18. Did someone tell you that for sure?
  19. Thank you for responding! Yes I actually talked to someone from admissions at Charity (not Delgado's main campus), and she said that since this year it was such short notice, they will still consider our summer classes. But this will be the last year they are doing so apparently! That's a relief though.
  20. Hey all! I am applying to Charity School of Nursing Delgado this summer for the Spring 2019 classes. I wanted to start this thread for some support and to help keep each other updated. I just checked Delgado's website for Charity's application deadlines. It's saying applications for Spring are July 1st - July 15th.. is this incorrect?! Everything I've read in the past has August 1-15 as applications ...I am taking classes over the summer to help apply to Charity, they will not be completed by July 1st!! This doesn't seem right.
