  1. Hi everyone, I haven't commented on this thread yet but I got in and I am giving my spot up! So keep your fingers crossed alternate list people!!!
  2. When I got my acceptance letter they gave me until Friday the 27th at 4:30pm to accept/decline. Maybe they will send out another round of acceptance letters tomorrow after they get the declines from Friday??? I have my fingers crossed for both of you!!
  3. YAAAAY!!! See you on the 8th :)
  4. YAY!! Congratulations!!! I got mine today too! The wait was so miserable!!
  5. Thank you and congrats to you as well!!!Can't wait to meet everyone! :)
  6. Just got my acceptance letter to Palomar!!!! :)
  7. Just got my acceptance letter to Palomar!!! :)
  8. I haven't heard anything yet either. Stressing out over here but trying to stay positive!
  9. I don't know what I should do.. I haven't heard anything from Palomar yet (good or bad). I emailed yesterday asking if they were still in the process of emailing acceptance/declination letters to students, or if no response meant that I didn't get in, but I haven't received a response. I'm mostly confused because I calculated my points somewhere between 81-84 and I've noticed people with points in the 70's have already been accepted. Does anyone have advice on what I should do? :/
  10. What time did you receive it at? I haven't gotten anything
  11. Well maybe that's a good sign!!
  12. Thanks girl, you too! I didn't get a letter but I did get an email saying I didn't get in. I had 84-85 points as far as I calculated so I thought I had somewhat of a shot Still hoping for better news from Palomar!!
  13. I didn't get in I can't believe it
  14. Just checked the mail... nothing yet
  15. That's what I thought as well!
  16. I've heard that they accept 40. Not sure how accurate that is though!
  17. And Palomar will just send out emails, is that right?
  18. I'm on the same page as you; I would think that if you weren't a competitive applicant that she wouldn't even bother contacting you? Ahh, I think that's a good sign! From what I've seen, it seems like most people in this application cycle have 75-85 points. I don't think I've seen anyone with 90+ points so hopefully we are ALL good!! *fingers crossed*
  19. I was told the same thing and it looks like last year people ended up receiving their letters around April 6. I got an acceptance letter to Cal State San Bernardino a couple of days ago but that school is my last choice. I really want to go to MCC or Palomar.
  20. MCC should be sending out acceptance/denial letters within the next week or so, right? I'm getting really impatient! haha
  21. MCC should be sending out acceptance/denial letters within the next week or so, right? I'm getting really impatient! haha
  22. I haven't received a confirmation email either. When I turned in my app the woman said I would receive an acceptance/denial email sometime in April but she never mentioned a confirmation email :/
  23. Sounds like you should have a pretty decent amount of points! That BA will help a lot! Gosh I hope we all get in!!
  24. Sounds like the 3 of us are all around the same point value! I hope this semester isn't too competitive and I hope our points are good enough! Did you apply anywhere else??
  25. Whitney, I applied to Riverside City College, Mira Costa and Palomar. Mira Costa would be my first choice I think. I'm so nervous!! I know 84 points is decent, but I'm just so worried it isn't enough. I've heard that Palomar isn't as competitive and that typically if you have 75+ points you have a really good shot of getting in - not sure how much truth there is to that statement though!! I've heard really good things about Grossmont's program! I hope you get into your first choice!!!!
