  1. This patient has TPN through her port. We are running antibiotics through a peripheral IV. She has had an IV on the same side as the port, but someone said today that we should not use that arm. I cannot find any research on this, only on PICC lines
  2. If a patient has an infusaport can I start her IV in either arm? I didn't think it mattered, but was recently to to avoid the arm on the same side of the chest as the port.
