  1. Of course! Good luck with applying, you won't regret it. & I do know that next semester for fundamentals we will have lab 2x a week, clinical 1x a week and lecture (hopefully in person as well) & then mental health will have clinical and lecture. The clinical will be split between the two for the semester so I think the first 8 will be fundamentals and the other 8 will be mental health or vice versa.
  2. The LPN program does accept more people than the ADN program. I believe including myself there are 62 people in my graduating class. A friend of mine recommended I do this program, she went through it and loved it. For the first semester (due to covid, otherwise the classes are normally on campus) we have two online classes one consists of pre-recorded lectures and the other one is realtime online (live lectures via blackboard) and that class meets once a week. I work similar hours as you (20-25 depending on the week) & so far I’m doing okay?? It’s a lot of work, but that’s like any program. I believe my overall TEAS score was a 69%. I hope this is helpful for you ?
  3. Hello :) yes, I was and am currently in the first semester of the program.
  4. I miss being on campus too. It's been a hard adjustment doing everything online since I definitely learn better in a classroom setting ?
  5. I actually do plan on applying for both but I would be just as excited to be accepted into either program ?. I figured I would start a forum for the LPN program because I haven't come across many from prior years!
  6. You have great grades! Good luck with A&P 2 and the TEAS! I hope we both get in too. Fingers crossed.
  7. I just started it this week and so far so good! My professor is very organized so that's helping me a lot. It is definitely strange not being on campus and I would have preferred to be in person for it but I think it is manageable. If for some reason we aren't allowed back on campus for fall semester, I definitely think you can do it from home.
  8. Hello! Nice to meet you guys. I'll be applying for the Spring as well. I'm scheduled to take my TEAS in a few weeks but have most general education courses done. Here are where my grades currently stand from the classes listed on the rubric: BIO105 - A, BIO130 - C+, BIO132 - A, BIO244- (currently taking!), MAT103 - A, ENG101 - A, ENG102- A, PSY101- B+, HIS101- B+, HIS103-B+, PHL211 (haven't taken yet) Good Luck to everyone applying!! Hopefully all goes well and I'll get to meet you all in the Spring! ?

  10. Hi all! I figured I would start a thread for those who are applying for the LPN Program at Suffolk County Community College for the Spring 2021 semester like myself. ?
