  1. yeah, you both make sense but i still have loans from my previous undergrad degree. tacking 30 somthing K on top of that will crush me. Any thoughts on local community colleges? I've heard CCP is good but the school is just so big and impersonal.
  2. I'm really wanting to make acareer change to nursing. But ive heard conflicting things about nursing. I understand there's a nationwide nursing shortage that's expected to remain for the next 20 years. But I'm also hearing that nursing schools are flooded with applicants, so much so that many have waiting lists. I don t understand this. Do this mean that the market will be flooded with nurses int he next 5-10 years? I wanted to be a nurse because i want a meaningful and well-paying career. But this concerns me? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  3. Just wanted to ask for some advice. I'm making a career change to nursing and im currently taking the pre-reqs. My question is about nursing schools and the different options. I just can't believe how expensive some of these programs are. Drexel's ACE is 27k, plus books and other expenses!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really want to be a nurse but im hesistant to take a loan this big out. Does anyone know what my other options, less expensive are?
