  1. Thanks! Congrats to you too!! I haven't heard from HR yet lol I have a practicum shift in the morning so I'll ask about how long it takes to hear from them ?
  2. I accepted a spot in the ER residency last Monday :)
  3. @silentmajesty7 I'm just curious as to how you like the residency program. If you had gotten an offer for ER at a different level 1 hospital that paid significantly better would you have taken it? Or was getting the Grady experience worth the lower pay? Also, I heard they pay part of your student loans as an incentive and that's why there is a 2 year commitment. Is that true? Are the benefits very good? Sorry to ask a million questions ?
  4. Hey guys! From my packet I got it says that we have to have our signed acceptance letters in by the 18th, so hopefully that will open up some more spots in the program. I turned all my paperwork in on the 1st and it says we would get PINS review access 3-4 days from then, but I don't have it yet. The school said they would be providing that access through the end of the week next week. Good luck to everyone! Also, I got in to ACE so if anyone was curious about my stats I have a 3.78 overall, 4.0 science, 4.3 institutional GPA, 91.3 TEAS, I have been a licensed phlebolomist for 7 years, BS in Chemistry and BS in Cell and Molecular Biology. No volunteer hours.
  5. I'm not 100% sure how they calculate it. I would contact Jamelle Funches in the nursing advisement office. He is a great resource. Hope that helps and good luck on your application!
  6. Hi everyone! I got accepted into the ACE program today! I got my acceptance email at 3:45. I look forward to meeting you guys this Fall and good luck to everyone!!!
  7. That was about the time I submitted mine too. The wait is killing me lol. Thanks for getting back to me :)
  8. When did you submit your application? I only applied ACE as well and I am so anxious. I have a 3.78 overall, 4.0 science and 91.3 on the TEAS. Did you get an email or a physical letter?
  9. I applied to ACE only and have not heard anything yet. I will keep everyone posted. Good luck!! I look forward to seeing how we all did!!
  10. I just called the school about the status check not working and they said we will not be able to check the status at all for the next 6-8 weeks
  11. I submitted my application yesterday so I went to talk to Mr. Funches today. He said they extended it to make up for the snow days. They won't start reviewing any applications until after the 9th
  12. Hi guys! I am applying only to the ACE program. I have 2 bachelors, one in chemistry and one in cell and molecular biology. I made a 91.3 on the TEAS and I believe my GPA is a 3.6. It's calculated strange here since none of my upper level classes count. I have been a licensed phlebotomist for 7 years. I'm really excited/nervous about getting into this program. We just moved here so I am not applying anywhere else. Good luck to us all!!
