Hey Wiggly Litchi how are you? I'm back again for some important question and I need to talk privately if possible. I really need to find out about something for my self confidence and my new job as a CNA. You know I have started and been working for two weeks now. So I need some advice. Thank you

Wiggly Litchi :). Got an update from the facility just hung up with them. I got the position :). The HR scheduled an appointment for physical tomorrow at noon yepieeeee. I'm super excited and nervous lol. Thanks for everyone I will keep in touch and tell you about my experience there especially the first day since its going to be the big day for me lol.

Hahaha yeah similar to what happened to me but I didn't notice not until I got home and my sister in law pointed it out to me! Thank you for your wishes I haven't got the job yet :) but I'm optimist regarding the interview. I will find out the next two days hopefully. Tnx everyone I will let you know :).

TriciaJ I was told that I would get to hear back from them either on Thursday or Friday so keep fingers crossed for me please. I appreciate you wishing me good luck :). Tnx

Lol yeah when I got home I was told the same by my family although everyone laughed at the whole thing. It was just spontaneous to go to the interview with a tag on my pants!

Wiggly Litchi guess what happened to me when I went to the interview?! You know since I was going to be interviewed and I didn't have the right clothes for it, I only had the shirts so I had to buy the shoes and pants, so I got off my current job at 1:00pm and the interview was at 2:00pm and to get to the interview site was 20 minute drive so I had to rush everything so I can be ready and not get late for the interview. You know my pants were new and they have the brand and price tag on them! Since I was in so much hurry to get it done I forgot about the tag that was on the back of my pants! I went to the interview met people there and even took around in the facility and got back home and the tag was still on my pants! My sister in law pointed that out to me as soon as I got home and I was lol omg! I'm sure they noticed that but no one pointed it out to me maybe they just avoided embarrassing me :).

Hi Wiggly Litchi. I just got back from my interview about half an hour ago. It just went great I think. I was surprised cause I was interviewed by 3 people there! The DON! The HR and the Administrator... ! I got confused at first to be honest I thought I wouldn't make it good. However they were nice which made me feel comfortable and there were a lot of question and I think they liked me cause they were impressed by some answers. Anyway, after the interview I went along with the HR to look around the facility it was interesting. thank you for your help :).

Thanks for your help. I will do my best to be professional during my interview lol. It's my start though but I keep a positive attitude regarding it. I will let you know all about it :) . Tnx.

Wiggly Litchi, Thank you for your advice and that was helpful. I have actually been preparing almost the same info I got through out my preperation. I'm super excited for the interview but I'm a little shy person which affects my confidence although I would be prepared very well it just brings me confusion being shy, but I'm working on controlling it cause I don't want to get it as weakness during performing my job. I just wanted to ask: Do I have to go through probation period in case I got hired?

Hey everyone, I just finished up my CNA classes 10 days ago and passed both written test and skills test. I have applied to many places of nursing homes and hospitals. So 3 days ago I got an interview invitation and I'm going for it tomorrow. I just need a bit of advice regarding CNA interview. If any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you 😊

I can see why the defense class was for! Thank you for the valuable information you provided. You know every single day I learn something new I get more excited to learn more and more! If I made it successfully I would carry on education and learning. I do appreciate it Neo TNX!

Thank you Neo again. Yeah it was a good bit of advice to go to a community college and I will work on that after the CNA course if possible. I just want to continue education just love it dude. Well I don't know if psychiatry settings require special training as a CNA? I will find out about that. Thank you again

Thank you Neo for your encouragement! As you can see I can almost explain everything including medical procedures! But I'm not 100% prefect when it comes to listening but I'm working on that I plan to go further into nursing but I expect the high school diploma will be an obstacle for me but I will be working on certificates that don't include high school diploma/GED cause I'm trying to shorten the period of studying at the same time targeting at a better position. I don't know what psych is exactly if you can explain would be appreciated. Thx.

I havent enrolled at any CNA classes yet! I plan to start my CNA class on the 19th of March. Plus requirements for the CNA do not include high school diploma! Otherwise, I would have not thought about it! Plus I have sought some job sites and offers for CNA and most of them ask for the certification only! They dont ask for high school diploma! In additional, I can speak the language fluently enough to communicate but I would want to improve it to become as any native citizine here just for getting no embarrassment at my job place. Are you sure a high school diploma validates working as a CNA more than the certificate obtained?!!! Uhmmm.
