I have been trying for Canada. It's a very very tedious process and not to mention expensive too. I am in the same predicament except I'm from Singapore and I don't have a family, yet.

But I have never been to Canada. I don't know whare I really want to go to.

Hi, I am a male RN from Singapore attempting to find a RN job anywhere in Canada. Could Canadian nurses advise if the job market for RNs is good in Canada. Also I'm stumped by how to go about it. I'm not able to find one recruitment agency that would assist me in my pursuit, I really screened through Google. I was hoping that there would be agencies that would do the entire process such as finding a job, applying my migration papers and finding me a temporary home etc. It may seem like a far stretch, but when I was trying NZ or UK I had such agencies. I engaged a migration website, I paid US 767 for it and I have a guy feeling that it would be a bogus. I don't know if going to Canadian Embassy here in Singapore is a good idea. I've got a few questions such as, should I get my employment confirmation before going over or go to Canada to find a job. Honestly I prefer the former because I do not have a endless supply of cash to sustain me in Canada. Another question is, do I really need to get a visa before applying for a job ? I'm hoping to move by august, earlier the better. If anyone has any insight, please contact me. Thank you.
