Marian University (MU) CRNA 2021
Good luck to everyone applying! I have a few questions to those who have applied if you don't mind! :) What makes a CRNA applicant competitive? My undergrad GPA from IU is a 3.72. I do not have a lot of science courses, though. Will that be problematic? Should I take undergrad science courses prior to applying? I also took micro when I was fresh out of high school and got a C! Will that matter? I plan on going to a Level 1 trauma hospital and working in the MICU or SICU for at least 2 years before applying to CRNA school. Is there anything else that I can do to boost my chances? Thanks!

ABSN Programs and Financial Aid Help!!
Not sure of where you live, but I was once considering an ABSN program. I looked into the differences and soon found that ASN and BSN have little difference as an entry-level nurse. I applied at my local community college & will more than likely be starting classes this Fall with high scores. I am going to go RN-MSN through Ball State in Indiana hopefully. I have a 3.78 GPA with my BS in Psychology. I am hoping to continue this during my ASN program and get into the MSN program. I also do not have to take out loans for the ASN program. There are pros and cons; however, the pros far surpassed the cons for me in regards to an ASN program.

Ivy Tech Fall 2018 Hopefuls
Yikes! I'm in A&P 102, so I'm good with the digestive and resp. I haven't learned about endocrine yet, so I have been trying to study. Are the specific to the location they are secreted? I have taken both practice tests. The first time I didn't do well, but I re-took practice A and got an 89%! Did you find the practice tests to be similar, more difficult, or easier than the actual TEAS?

Ivy Tech Fall 2018 Hopefuls
That's great! I'm on the Ivy Tech Facebook Nursing site & it looks like that is a score that will more than likely get you in! I have talked to several people that are applying and their scores are much lower! I take my TEAS a week from tomorrow! I will come back to update. Is there anything from the sections that I should know and study hardcore on?

Ivy Tech Fall 2018 Hopefuls
Hello, everyone! Indy applicant for the Fall 2018 cycle here. I do not plan on applying at any other campuses, because I have 4 children and it's not feasible to drive over an hour from my home to clinicals and class. I have 60 points for A&P 101, English and Psych. I was told to nearly guarantee a spot, I needed to get at least an 80 on my TEAS! So it looks like 140 might be a minimum score needed to get in Indy's campus! I am taking my TEAS in April. Any tips? I am so nervous, because I have been out of high school a while and graduated from IU with a BS in Psychology. I do not have a strong science background! Good luck everyone! I will update when I complete my TEAS!
