Haven't heard anything from UM, I as well thought the Pre Matriculation course was to start yesterday, unless they are still interviewing people,All I know is that classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursday because I logged in to canelink and saw. Eventually they should set up the pre matriculation course, I'm not in a hurry thats for sure lmao!!

I'll be working full time as well !

The role of the nurse practitioner is to prevent, educate and provide wellness, I stated in all aspects of life but you can say in adults(because I'm doing FNP, you are doing the Adult gerontology). The nursing model and patient as a whole part is great haven't heard that one. I mentioned how nursing is the most trusted profession, how patients connect more to us than doctors (they seemed to like that). Also the um NP website has an FAQ section that has some of the questions there, with answers if you need to see what they are looking for.

Honestly I parked right infront of the nursing building and I didn't pay anything lmao I was bueno si me dan un ticket give it to me because this is ridiculous to pay for 10 minutes lmao so I didn't pay, when I walked out I prayed I didn't have a ticket and lucky me I didn't lmao !

Questions asked are: Why UM? What is the role of the NP? What are strengths and weaknesses, a patho question, and I mean they did ask me tell me about yourself but literally I told them 30 seconds about me, they interview you so fast! I was literally in an out in 8 minutes ! Keep eye contact and smile ! They love that!

They will ask questions based on the floor you work at, for example I work in a post op floor so they asked me a question on post op hip replacement, honestly they don't kill you, very straight forward questions they ask, they are all nice ! You'll do great! You are amazing!

Hey you, ironically enough....I got an email for interview today. I was at work at the time and around 5 it was sent to me, I did apply for the FNP though. Monday is the day. Nervous but excited. Will update you as time passes, wish me luck!

When my friend applied earlier this year, and got her interview date (she deleted emails so she can't estimate for me lol ) it was sent to other people as well (on the same email ) so perhaps they are waiting on picking more candidates for interview dates before they send the email to you. Don't think they are pulling your leg, I just don't think they personally send an interview email individually to everyone (that would take forever) lol ! You'll be fine !

Don't laugh at me lmao but literally 2 days, I received an email that my application was being reviewed on Sunday, but no one has really answered on how long the process takes, and I hate waiting and rechecking emails 5,000 times a day lol =D

Hey! So I emailed them and they stated that perhaps by the end of this week there will be news......"supposedly". Guess they are really busy with the boca and hboi campus!

Haven't been notified about the Davie Campus, which is strange...anyone else waiting on Davie ? Emailed them but no answer yet, don't know who to call (the school or the MSN coordinator) , I did submit last minute and was verified on Nursingcas the last week of February, don't know if that is/was an issue.
