  1. @NYnurse I submitted over 50 applications directly on Sutter Health and Kaiser and most were ignored. I was offered an interview at one of the Kaiser locations but I had already accepted my current position. I was on LinkedIn and Indeed every day looking at new jobs. Some job postings on LinkedIn will show you who posted them. If you see a recruiter posting a job, don't be afraid to connect with them and reach out directly about available positions. There are also so many contract/travel nursing positions available but I did not qualify for what they were looking for. If you have experience that may be a way to get your foot in the door somewhere and work your way into a permanent position. Hope this helps!
  2. Yes, I did find a job! I was hired at Travis AFB. I was also offered a position at Stanford but declined because the commute was too far.
  3. I will look into it, thanks!
  4. @db2xs I'm currently in the Walnut Creek area but will be moving to the North Bay this Summer. I've been looking pretty much everywhere in the east bay and north bay as far up as Sacramento
  5. Hi there! My fiance and I relocated to the East Bay a few months ago for his job and I am struggling to find work. I have one year of inpatient float pool experience and 5 months of outpatient oncology experience coming from the Chicago area. I'm looking for advice that anyone can give on ways to find a job here or where to look! I have submitted over 50 applications to Kaiser, Sutter, JohnMuir, and some other smaller companies with no luck. Also looked at some travel nursing job posts I have seen but do not have 2 years of experience to qualify. I appreciate any advice! Thanks!!
