the fb group is Stony Brook University Nursing Class of 2020 2 Year Program

I found out about my acceptance today through solar!! However, I already attend SB which is why I was able to access solar. I think only a few have it who don't attend

I think I did well on the writing but I'm not sure about the math because I got stuck on a couple on the back page. What about you?

I had my interview Feb 5 and the interviewers said it'll take 6-8 weeks to hear back and today starts the 6th week! So hopefully we'll find out soon.

a What I did with Adelphi is deferred my acceptance to another semester. I would call and ask about that and maybe consider doing that if you really want to go to Stony Brook. It sucks, but if it's something you really want you have to take some chances!

@Sussysalon1 Yes, you need to be called for an interview in order to be considered

I heard it was a point system and that after the interview and math/writing test they look at your application as a whole. I've been told that when looking at GPA that they focus more on your science GPA.

There were two interviewers. We were asked about 5 questions. For the math, there was algebra like finding x. There were also 3 word problems.

I think it depends on where you go and if the credit will transfer over to SBU as a fine arts requirement. However, if you do go to SBU already, any class that satisfies the ART requirement will most likely count towards your fine arts requirement. I took MUS 119 and it was really easy. Regardless, if you aren't sure if it will count, I definitely recommend emailing Karen Allard at [email protected] and she will tell you.
