  1. I got an email this morning with a decision update. It was sent around 7:30am PST. Thanks for the encouragement, I'm excited finally know what next year will look like :)
  2. I got an email and I also got rejected! Hard to face rejection, but I will be going to Vanderbilt for FNP in the fall. Good luck to everyone else! Don't lose hope. But even if you don't get in, I'm sure you are a wonderful nurse and everything will work out in the end.
  3. I got off the waitlist! Just got my offer letter--they sent me an email with a status update. It did include scholarship and financial aid information. To encourage you all, I applied late and really thought I had lost an opportunity. Stay positive! :)
  4. I went to UNC for my BSN and they notified us the second week in April. I'm hoping for a similar situation for MSN, but it seems like end of April is the norm!
  5. I am currently on the waitlist for FNP, but I got an email from Dr. Pitts yesterday asking if I was willing to switch to OMTA. She didn't say whether or not I was accepted, though. Will wait and see!
  6. @hopefullynp I was placed on the waitlist for direct entry FNP. If this helps, it said I would need to accept my position on the waitlist by March 16 or the offer would be removed. That makes me think that there would be more people added to the waitlist after that date if people fail to accept. I hope that is helpful!
  7. I have my BSN and have 4+ years of acute care experience and I applied to the FNP program. I submitted my application on Dec 8 and haven't heard much yet. I did get the financial aid email and an email about the open house. From what I have read so far on this thread, I waited way too long to submit my application. I am also applying to UNC-Chapel Hill and UCSF. Does anyone have any words of comfort for me? Ha, I'm a little discouraged.
