  1. Personally handing in resumes AHS

    I have recently relocated to Calgary from Ontario and understand that the nursing job market is incredibly tough. I also understand that the majority of the job postings through AHS already have an internal candidate selected. I am going to start walking in to hospitals and visiting units to physically give my resume to unit managers but am hesitant to do this if it will hinder my chances of getting an interview. Does anyone know what the current consensus is on doing this? Thanks in advance!
