Hi Makalisia, I am not sure if I will be in school that time since we are only meeting at school once a week for our last semester. You may text me at 9165215376. I can meet you at school if I do not have my clinical that day. We will also be done by the 28th of June so anytime after that I am free. I am excited for you! If you get interviewed just be confident that you can make it. The faculty will tell you how difficult and demanding the program is because they try to weed out those who are not determined enough, but tell them you can do it. Dadang

Hi Makalisia, I applied and got accepted in the program last year, and I am about to graduate end of June this year. It is indeed a fast paced program but I am sure you can do it. In our class of 22, only one failed the program but, he is in the traditional track now and still working hard to be a nurse. The very first semester was the hardest but as you get accustomed to the pace then you will do better. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but I worked hard and I am proud to maintain a 4.0 GPA. Many of my classmates got excellent grades. The subjects that I would say were more challenging are Patho 1 & 2, and Med Surge 1 & 2. The teachers are all very supportive and the program is designed to make you pass the NCLEX. In case you need some books, I can sell you some of my used books. If you have time, start studying your patho because many of my classmates had a tough time with this subject. Once you pass your 1st and 2nd semesters, the rest is easy. Also, USM is really a great school. I still have more than 1 sem left but I already have a job offer. So go girl! As long as you work hard and manage your time wisely you can do it. If you need an apartment, I think there are units available in River City Rentals and it is just across USM. Dadang

Hello NLB32, I wonder if you got in the ABSN of USM last 2016. I am applying there right now and am still waiting for my credentials to be evaluated. If you were able to get in, how was the experience? I am just like you a bit apprehensive because of the fast-paced of the program. I hope you did get in and that you are already a registered nurse by now.

Hi JCPRN! How many students are in the class? Did all your batch passed the program?how many hours do you need to study a day outside of class? I am still deciding between MNU and USM in Leavenwoth, Kansas. Their ABSN program cost about the same but MNU's location is much better- close to everything. Also, did you have quizzes everyday?are there a lot of papers to write? Any tips or advice from someone who finished the program will be greatly appreciated!
