Hello, I received an invitation to proceed to the next round in November. Final decisions came out in early January and I was placed on the waitlist. However, they do not number their waitlist candidates and evaluate potential candidates on a case-by-case basis. I never got off their waitlist but proceeded to apply to SMU and will be starting their FNP program in January '19. Also, UCD does not have a FNP program, it is only a master's entry program in nursing (hence, MEPN). I hope this info. helps! Best wishes!

Hi all. I applied to both ELMSN and ABSN (Sacramento campus). I am waitlisted #10 for ABSN but will be accepting my spot for ELMSN. So for those of you on the waitlist, please don't give up hope. Best wishes to everyone!

Sounds like we were all told different dates. The wait is killing me!

I interviewed 9/7/18 and the panel mentioned that we would hear back by the end of the September (clearly that did not happen). Much like yourselves, I too am getting a bit anxious and have been obsessively checking my email, especially since I applied to both FNP and ABSN. I feel like everyone did so well but seats are limited. Hopefully we hear back real soon!

I am scheduled for the 7th at 1:00pm as well! I'm looking forward to the interview but am not sure if there is a way to prepare. If anyone would like to share insight for the interview, that would be greatly appreciated.

Update: I'm a Mac user and it didn't work for me. However, it worked for me via Google Chrome (I downloaded it online as an application). Perhaps, Firefox might help too. Hope this helps!

Hello all! I also received an invitation to interview and had a difficult time registering. I don't see any available time slots on my end; instead, I see time slots for webinars, campus tours, etc. Either way, congrats to those who got the invitation- I look forward to meeting some of you!

ELMSN* program

This is excruciating. I called earlier this week and they told me the same thing- the status could change until the end of June. In the meantime, I am applying to Samuel Merritt's ABSN and and EElMSN program. Thanks for getting back to me- fingers crossed! :)

Has anyone heard back from the waitlist?

I think you'll receive the same response that I've received all along: "Your waitlist status may remain until the end of June." Fortunately, I am from the Sacramento area but much like yourself, I too would like to be financially prepared to pay the program fees through private loans. I applied to Sac. State's nursing program and unfortunately I did not get in (I found out about 3 weeks ago). I will also be applying to SMU's ABSN and possibly ELMSN FNP. I attended SMU's 3-day Nursing Success Seminar in Oakland last summer and it was a wonderful experience. I highly encourage attending this event if you haven't already. The information can be found on their website but you will need to submit an application if you would like to attend.

Hello juuchu, I am also a waitlisted candidate and I have received very vague responses via telephone and email. Over the phone, I have been told that it is an ongoing process and that various waitlist spots have already been opening up. However, I believe the individual I spoke to was referring to all the programs in general and not MEPN. Meanwhile, my response via email is as follows: "As a spot becomes available on the cohort, waitlisted applicants will be evaluated using various factors as determined by the Admissions Committee." As you can see, this is all vague and I can also attest that I am antsy myself. Did you apply elsewhere?

Hello ShannG, I created an account once I came across this post. I am currently waitlisted for the program and am hoping space will open up the same way it opened up for you! What advice could you offer for someone who is waitlisted? Is there anyone I can speak to regarding the decision that was made or is all communication done through e-mail?
