Did anyone who was waitlisted receive an email from MGH saying they received your FAFSA? I just received one today. Probably doesn't mean anything but I got excited seeing an email from them.

I'm assuming no one has heard anything??

You may not get a response from the waitlist there's no guarantee. If you want to be safe you'll have to pay the deposit for the other school that's what I did.

I emailed admissions today and unfortunately all they could say was any time between now and August :/

Basically it means that once you start the master's portion, you have to find a nurse practitioner willing to work with you. You need a certain amount of hours doing this in order to graduate. Regis does not provide placements for this like they do for clinical placements during the RN portion. There are pros and cons because you do have freedom to choose an area of nursing that maybe you wouldn't be able to if it were assigned to you. I have heard sometimes it can be stressful to find an NP to work with, but so far I haven't heard of anyone not graduating because of it.

I also plan on attending (still hoping to get off the waitlist at MGH though). Plan on paying using loans, haven't heard from financial aid yet either. I live right outside of Providence, RI and ideally I would commute to save money on loans but I don't know how feasible that will be for me. Not too sure about the housing situation around campus.

Based on previous threads it sounds like we won't know until after the initial deposit deadline? Anyone who was accepted how long do you have to pay your deposit? It looks like we could have a decision end of March early April. After that it looks like it's pretty rare to get accepted.

Waitlisted for family

I emailed them multiple times asking about GRE scores and they would not give me a direct answer. They basically said it does not count for very much, and if you didn't do as well as you would have liked, to focus more on other aspects of your app when applying. As for acceptance rate, when I attended an info session I was told they take about 100 people total (split into the different tracts) and they get about 400 applicants usually.

So according to 2016 and 2017 threads, this is with a January 1st deadline, I believe everyone found out on 2/9 in 2016 and 2/7 in 2017. Hoping it is around that time again!

I'm guessing you won't find out until after the 2/5 deadline that they gave the people who were just admitted? I assume they have to see who is comitted and who turns them down before admitting new people. They will probably schedule and interview of some kind soon though.

Well, no email but I did receive a rejection letter unfortunately. So I'm not sure if that means those of you who got emails got accepted and those who didn't were rejected? Good luck!
