  1. I'm sorry if this has been posted before and for the trivial nature, my 19 month old daughter and I just spent a week in the pediatric ward to treat her RSV. Needless to say, she was not the happiest whenever her nurses came in but they were absolutely fantastic with her and took the time to learn about her interests and her overall demeanor and what works best for her. Not to mention being so helpful with me, I was alone in caring for her almost the whole time and couldn't leave the room so I was at their mercy with retrieving coffee and other things. I would love to put together a little basket for them, I don't have a lot of money to work with but want it to be things pediatric nurses (or any nurse I suppose) need day to day. I have some ideas and would love feedback. Travel sized beauty items from a pharmacy (lotion, chapped stick, etc) Mini pouches that fit in scrub pockets/purses Snacks? Mints? Candy? Another thing I wasn't sure of, would including stickers/trinkets in which they can gift to other patients be useful/allowed? We get stickers all the time from our PCP but noticed stickers weren't handed out during our stay, not that we particularly needed them but all kids love stickers. I really appreciate any and all feedback. God bless all of you, I know it isn't easy but I'm sure very rewarding when the child is able to recover and be discharged. xoxo Most grateful parent
