  1. Hello Friends, so far I didn't see my name in BON website, so i guess i failed again with 265 questions, thats so crazy to hear. At times, I do think to myself of why didn't the computer stop at some point rather than taking me for a full ride of 265???. I am still waiting for my mail. Lets see what happens. At this point in my life, I don't think I have any more energy or patience to study and take it again. God Save me...... Good luck guys..... nithya
  2. Hey guys, In CA, you can take nclex any # of times without taking any review. I am not sure abt other states. Cheers, nithya
  3. Dear All, Goodmorning ! hope everyone had a goodweekend. Thanks a lot for ur support. Since I took my exam on friday, I may have to wait for another 2--3 days to see any updates on CA website (license verification). I am in a very difficult situation bcoz my life is on hold and it is 3--4 yrs that i have been waiting for this license. At times, I do feel that i shd give it up, but its a tough decision. When i took the exam for the first time, I got 265, then again 265, 75 and now again 265???? isn't that crazy. I am NOT able to even think whether i will pass or not. It is so hard to expect anything untill i open my result mail and see. Life has to go on ....no matter what. I shd find some way to keep my life going. Thanks every one for ur love and support. Cheers, Nithya
  4. Hey guys, thanks a lot for all ur wishes and prayers. I totally believe in prayers and wishes from friends. Keeping my fingers crossed. I will let you all know abt my result. I have RN license from canada. So if i fail this time, I might consider moving to canada and working there. Take care.... cheers..... nithya
  5. Dear Friends, I took my NCLEX-RN exam today for the the 4th time and I got 265 questions . I was sitting there in front of the computer for 5 full hrs. I do NOT know if I passed or not, but I did my BEST. I took the exam for CA board and of course we do not have quick results . I had lotssssssss of priority questions, whom do you see first, nurse floating(pt allotment), equipment problem, select all that apply (3 or so), a simple math and couple of meds. A lot of tricky and twisted questions. I do not mean to scare anyone but thats how i felt. I would like to THANK Suzzane for all her HELP and SUPPORT. I would also like to "thank" and wish everyone "good luck" in their life. I will keep you guys posted. Best Wishes, :monkeydance:
  6. Hi there, personally I would recommend you to study "Mosby Comprehensive review....., CRNE Prep Guide and the CRNE online exam which CNO offers". I did that and I passed :chuckle my Canadian RN exam in dec 2004. By the way I am an International Student. Good luck and Happy Holidays
  7. Hey guys, I am residing in U.S. Recently I got my RN license from CRNBC (british columbia board)and in a couple of months I will be moving to BC after I get my final papers of Canadian permanent resident status. Previously I stayed in Ontario for almost 2 yrs, so i have NO idea of cities in BC. I am a kind of person who likes to live in a calm and pleasant environment. So which city do you think might be good for living with good transportation, good hospital to work, not too much remote ???? Thanks a lot in advance. Waiting for your responses. Nithya
  8. Dear Suzanne, thank you very much for your response regarding ITIN. You seem to be helping so many nurses like me by answering to so many different kinds of questions, that great.... keep up your good work
  9. Thanks NurseMargo, So if anyone with ITIN pass their nclex, can they see their name on BON website??????????? or do we need to wait untill we get the result in the mail in 3--4 weeks. California does NOT participate in quick results and thats the bad part for us not knowing the result for so many weeks.
  10. Hey guys, can any one pls let me know if we can get RN license with ITIN (individual tax identification #) instead of SSN. I do NOT have SSN and i have submitted my ITIN to BON. It is already a week and i haven't seen my name on BON webiste (if and ifffff i passed ). Last year one of my friend was able to get her results in 2 days with only ITIN and no social security #. Has the rules changed in california??? from last year. If any one has any idea abt that pls let me know. Thanks.....
  11. Hi, thank you very much for ur reply. I am an Indian, i was not able to send you private message, thats why i am replying to you here. One of my friend had only ITIN but she was able to see her results online in 2 days.... oh god... do i need to wait another 2--3 weeks to get the mail. Waw...........It is so hard for me to even think if i passed or failed bcoz i got only 75 questions and this is my third time. First 2 times i got 265:crying2: and ended up failing after fighting with the computer for fiveeeeeeeeeee long hrs in exam. Please pray for me. Good luck for ur job search. Your hard work finally paid off, right
  12. Hey, good to know that you passed . I took my exam on 28th (monday) and i haven't seen my name yet on BON. I am from california too. I live nearby to cerritos on beach blvd. I have one quick question for you, did you had an ITIN # ????since you said that you don;t have SSN, bcoz I don't have SSN but i have submitted my ITIN (individual tax identification #). So i was curious to know if i can see my result online if i pass. Thanks and have fun :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  13. Hi there, I took my exam yesterday. MY suggestion to you is to totally concentrate on the CD questions of saunders/ kaplan... any kind which are similar to nclex. Always cultivate an habit to sit in front of computer and do the ????????????, in that way mentally you will be prepared to face the exam and you will have strength to be in front of the comp (in exam) in worst scenerio even to face 265, which we do NOT know right now. Hey don't get me wrong. In my case, i took exam for the 3rd time yesterday. First 2 times, i got 265 ??? and i failed and yesterday i got 75 ???. Even yesterday mentally i was prepared for 265 ??? but thank godddddddddddd. Three weeks prior to exam is the time for revision of whatever you studied all these days and then doing the questions as many as possible. When you do the questions, even if you do right/ or wrong always try to see why ur answer is right or why is it wrong??? in that way you will know the content and if you get any ???? of that topic, then you can answer it. Hope this helps. Good Luck
  14. Thanks for your support.
  15. Hai Everybody:p , just now I am coming back from my so called "NCLEX-RN " after i took it for the third time today. Last 2 times i got 265 ????? and failed :crying2: but today I got only 75??? :uhoh21: so bit nervous bcoz I am not sure if I did my exam really good/ really bad. I had a lot of priority ???, delegation ???, NO new type multiple selection ??, NO fluid calculation??. Pls study the normal lab values. Do a lot of prayer bcoz prayers are going to change your life forever. Always believe in yourself and always believe that if you work hard then Success is going to knock your door . I am in california, so I will update once I get my result. Good luck to every one who is going to take the exam in the near future. Love you all. This site with the discussion forum has kept me going all these days. Good Job guys....
