  1. Wow, I was one of those students who “failed” out and got back in. There was a reason I got into the program in the first place because I have really good grades. I only failed by a point and made it all the way to the end. Nursing is nothing like any class you will ever take. It’s not like you can just memorize the answers. You’ll get questions that you may think that two of the answers could be right. Your given a lot of material and in a short time to learn it all. Just because I “failed” doesn’t mean I don’t deserve a second chance. There were two returning students in my class, who both passed and moved on to maternity. I’m sure those girls, like myself didn’t wish to fail. At least we aren’t given up on our dreams! I wish you the best of luck and hope that you will receive an acceptance letter in the mail. If not, please don’t give up!
  2. They found out about it before the program started ?
  3. Be careful to make a Facebook group! Last year, they were told to delete it! Congrats everyone! I got back in too!
  4. I hope you get in!! Lisa is great, she really helped me out a lot!
  5. Hey everyone, I got accepted into the program fall 2018.. unfortunately, I failed by a point so I had to re apply. Like all of you, I’m waiting impatiently! Last year, we found out the 2nd week of Feb around 9am! I don’t think will be finding out till sometime next week :/ I just want to know already!! Some tips, stay ahead of all readings!!! I made a mistake of not reading from my book and study study study!!! If you are struggling, there are lots of resources. Another thing, I wish I had done was joined study groups..
  6. I got in!!First e-health! Congrats everyone!
  7. Admissions said that same thing last year and they found out a few days later! Let's hope the same thing will happen:)
  8. I don't want to jinx us but, if you look back at prior years...almost everyone who was on the forum got in!! I'm feeling good for all of us!
  9. I asked on Friday and still was pending decision. I got a letter in the mail from BCC was freaking out!! I forgot to waive my insurance so, it was only a bill lol I got it all squared away...phew!!
  10. Don't look like we're finding out this week!! Still nothing on degree works :/ Hoping we find out by end of next week or maybe even on Valentine's day
  11. Oh she said no to that hahaha worth a try though lol
  12. Urghh I know this wait sucks! Lol I keep asking the lady at the NB enrollment center my status..still says pending decision...she also said if u did get in I can't tell you..I said ok then, do a thumbs up or down lol fingers crossed ladies!!
  13. You have to log onto accessbc on the BCC website...on the left hand side it should say degree works..the icon is a green graduation cap. Once you get into DW on the top it will say major.hope this helps!
  14. Omg I know!! I'm planning on taking mine in the summer. I was going to wait and take it in between the nursing program. Then, I decided I'd much rather have the break in between the program! I don't think it would hurt your chances as long as they we're B- and higher! Right now I'm taking History, child development and A&P 2. micro was my last class. Best to get all the prerequisites out of the way and just focus on the nursing classes! I hope we find by end of next week! I've already checked degree works like 3 times today too lol
  15. By 2nd batch...i meant how the separate groups one 3.5 and higher then, 3.49 to 3.0...im saying they must be looking into the lower group now..if my application says pending decision😊
  16. I have a feeling our decision has already been made! They must be getting close because your GPA is 3.97 and mine is 3.48 so, they're into their 2nd batch! Hoping for a response by end of next week!
  17. Both times I was talking to someone in admissions. I was also told no decision has been made yet, this was as of yesterday. They're also not working in the nursing department so, not sure how much they really know lol
  18. so close! I've been checking to see what my application status says, one day said pending review and yesterday was pending decision...Idk if its a good thing or not lol I can't help but, checking the mail and hoping there's no letter yet. Feel like rejection letters will be going out soon :/ I hear you my anxiety is so bad too haha
  19. Thanks Lisa! That's good to hear someone got in with a 3.2. I've heard of someone getting in with a 3.4 also so, that makes me feel a little better. My GPA is based off of full time classes so, hopefully that will be in consideration. I've also applied for traditional as my second choice. That was also my concern that less people are picked but, the adviser told me it won't hurt my chances of getting in. The worse case is I'll get traditional instead, which is fine by me also. I'm with you, its out of our hands now just got to wait and see! Hope these 2 months fly by! Good luck and happy new year!
  20. Hey everyone, I applied for the e-health nursing program for next September. All my pre-admission classes are done with all A's except for a B+ in A&P. I passed the teas with a 54 and my overall GPA is 3.48. I tallied my points and I only have a 21. I'm hoping for the best, even with a low GPA. I was told you just need to pass the teas that's it, not to worry about the score. Good luck everyone!
