That position closed its application on 8/20 I think. I also was referred. From my experience the ucsd hiring process for the new grad residency is pretty slow moving. It can takes weeks to go from referred to interviewing.

It's driving me crazy! I was expecting a response last week. I reached out this morning to the recruiter who emailed me to schedule my interview, waiting to see if I get any news from her. I was just offered another job, but scripps is my first choice so I'd really like to know if there is any chance im still in the running ?

I interviewed at la jolla on July 29 and have heard nothing. My friends who applied also received their rejection letters.

Sorry to hear that. Which location/unit did you apply for? It's competitive out here and I know the spots are so limited. I've applied to 8 different residency positions and havd only had 1 interview.

Has anyone received a rejection email? According to their calendar, Friday (8/16) marked the end of the interview period. I know some offers have been sent out but I have yet to hear anything following my interview with la jolla.

When did you receive the email? LOL I've been obsessing over my email. They said offers would be sent out this week so I'm slowly losing hope. But I guess I still have tomorrow. I don't have any email contact, all the emails I received for scheduling my interview were from a noreply email ? so I've just been trying to be patient

I had an interview 2 weeks ago for La Jolla, I was told I would hear back with a decision in 2 weeks. Haven't heard anything yet.

I know someone who just got a call as well (they did their externship there). Im not sure how many people they interview, but I know they pay well. I believe 58/hr . Did they not offer a zoom interview?

Thank you. Last time they did send an email out eventually saying I was not selected. But I kinda knew at that point because my application never changed to under review. I also had an issue last time receiving my link for the on demand video part of the application, so I wasn't able to submit it until the end of the application window. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I received the email that I was forwarded to hiring managers on Monday, and Tuesday I received an email invite to interview. I will say last round my application status remained "completed" First time applying I had my NCLEX scheduled This time I have my license.

I received an invite for an interview for la jolla deu This is my second time applying.

I just completed my snapshot. I was kind of bummed San Diego (SDMC) wasn't listed as an option. I chose Zion as my first and San Marcos for my second choice.

Hello Everyone! Starting a thread for those applying to the Palomar Health New Grad Nurse Residency that begins October 2024. Applications are currently open (July 2024) Does anyone have information on the requirements listed. (For example, ACLS is required for some units, do we need to have that at time of application or by the start date?)

That is WILD. I would think you would get an interview at the very minimum. I would love to have some kind of understanding about their process if someone with experience like yours can't even get an interview.
