Yes, I applied prior to the May 30th deadline and also received this notification on July 14th.

I received an invite on June 12 via email as well and the interviews were yesterday (June 18) on Zoom. Sounds like it was the first day of interviews and there were 10 applicants interviewing. I think they said there will be more June interviews then it will be rolling interviews & admissions with June interviewees maybe hearing back in early July. Final decisions should be made in September/October. And I think they said if waitlisted, they could reach out as late as April.

When I submitted mine, it took about 9 days for the status to change from "Materials Needed" to "Ready for Review." I also got an email saying "Materials Needed..." even though everything was included with my initial submission. For GRE and transcripts, mine has shown "Unofficial Received" as well the whole time. So, I think it's normal for it to say "Materials Needed" until they manually review your application and confirm that everything looks good then the status will change.

I haven't heard anything yet. My application was submitted/finalized in late April but nothing since then. The UNCG SON account posted on LinkedIn 5 days ago about the applications being open and it says for June interviews apply by 6/1, for July interviews apply by 7/1, and for August interviews apply by 8/1. My suspicion is that they were waiting until 6/1 before reaching out for the first round of interviews. So hopefully we'll hear something soon! I think when I looked at the forum from last year, the first people posted about getting interview invites on 6/10. Good luck to you too!
