  1. Yes, we started in May. We only went 5 days a week the first semester for about 3 weeks then we had one day off. I barely passed with a 77 ( you need 75 to pass-no rounding). We're in our 2nd semester now and we`re going 1-2 days a week: lecture day and clinical day. This semester has not been stressful at all (Peds & OB). The program is very unorganized and with just about every test, they have to throw 1 or 2 questions out due to an error. The skills lab checkoffs were the most stressful part for me and many others. Some instructors are ok and some are a pain in the neck! I'll be glad when it's over with! When will you start & are you bridging?
  2. Yes, on the description page it shows May 14th, but on my "Concise Student Schedule" page it shows the start date as May 7th. I guess its an error. They seem to make changes without warning; I just wanted to make sure!í ½í¸€Thanks.
  3. Hi, I noticed on the class schedule it says classes start May 7th. Was it changed from starting on the 14th?
  4. Never mind . I see the crn. Thanks so much for your help!í ½í¸Š
  5. Oh OK. Is the crn number Nurs 2924?
  6. I noticed in the letter it mentioned Nursing 1924 & 1926 will be discussed at orientation. But in the curriculum it has nurs 2924. I registered for 1926, but it blocked my registration for 2924. Were you able to register? Is nurs 2924 & 1924 the same class?
  7. Oh OK. I haven't registered for the classes but I'll do that today. Thanks.
  8. Hi, I was wondering if you heard anything further from the school? I sent in my acceptance letter along with my picture but haven't heard anything yet. I know we have to take a physical before starting. I just hope they don't wait until the last minute to let us know things.
  9. 9 months? They told me it would start in May, and we would graduate in May 2019. Did they tell you 9 months?
  10. I was working part time, so I told my husband he would have to pick up the slack!lol. I've been thinking about it since Wednesday. But we'll just have to do whatever it takes to make it work. I don't know about you, but I didn't have a plan B, so this Nsg program was the only one I applied to. I'm sure there will be some who can't do it at all because they have to work. This is something they implemented at the last minute. This program was never accelerated before. Have you ever known it to be accelerated?
  11. Not anymore. I sat with Ms. Creel & 2 other staff members, and they said it is now and accelerated program...graduation will be May 2019. We have to go every day during the week!
  12. If you are an LPN and meet the minimum requirements, you're nearly guaranteed a seat! They have 40 seats in the bridge program, but only around 25 LPNs apply each year. I did my interview today and they will send out acceptance letters next month. Hope that helps!í ½í¸ƒ
  13. I spoke with Hugh Grant the director of nursing admissions at the main campus last year and he showed me a very long list of students competing to get in the traditional track BSN program. The first 40 all had 4.0 GPA scores, and those following had 3.9, and so on. So it is extremely competitive. However, he told me the bridge to Bsn is not competitive at all, and as long as you pass the minimum requirements, you're as good as guaranteed a seat!
  14. Hi, Are you scheduled for an interview? I had no idea the course was going to be a one year accelerated course! Were you aware of that?
