  1. @Ljill74 I graduated nursing school last August, so I waited a long time to test. I forgot soo much! At first after graduation I used Kaplan, which I really liked. Then I stopped studying for a while. I just like a month before testing started doing UWorld and listened to all of the Mark Klimek lectures. Mark Klimek is amazing!! I just realized there are so many Youtube videos that nurses do to help us pass the examinations. I would do UWorld and definitely listen to Mark Klimek and other you tubers. You tube breaks it down into terms that will make sense and that will make you remember. @AspiringRN Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you!
  2. @Ljill74 Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realize that. Well just start reviewing and best thing is don't overthink questions, and take your time. I literally was there the full 4 hours for 130 questions. I have test anxiety and ADHD, and it usually takes me a long time to test. What did you use to review?
  3. @Ljill74 I'm so sorry sweetie, but like Cindy said don't give up. You can do this. Now you know what to expect just like I do and know how to review. Many people don't pass the first time around so keep trying and I know you'll pass next time. ?
  4. @Cassie Boatwright Thanks Cassie. I'm trying to stay positive. I know the Lord was with me. I will update when I know.
  5. @Cindy Aguilar Yes. I went in and had it done. It won't be until next week when they release my results. I honestly hope after all of this waiting, and anxiety that I have passed. But you're right, I will prepare for the worst so that it doesn't hit me so bad if I didn't pass. @Ljill74 NC
  6. okay so I just got an email from the state board that they will not release my results until I go back in to have my palm scanned to attach to my file. The scanner was broke when I went in to test. Ugggghhh I won't get my results for a few more days. I can't even breathe. My bp is through the roof from this anxiety.
  7. @Cindy Aguilar Thanks for responding. I just don't know why it would be on hold. It's so nerve wrecking. I said many prayers to pass. We'll see. @Cassie Boatwright See hun. You can relax now. This 95% means you've passed! Congratulations RN!
  8. I took my test on Tuesday, had all 130 questions. I felt so defeated while walking out. I’ve been trying the PVT and it still says results on hold and I can’t schedule at this time. I’m so upset. It’s been almost 48 hours, why is it still on hold? I definitely studied hard with Mark Klimek and UWorld. I felt confident going in and when taking the test it was extremely hard. I felt like nothing I had studied prepared me for it.
  9. I don't really know how to explain it, but this wasn't really studied on either one. Maybe it's just me. I only slept maybe two hours the night before the test because of anxiety so that definitely could've played a role.
  10. The Mark Klimek lectures were amazing. He really helps a lot. UWorld is designed just like the NCLEX so yes they prepared me for the medical aspect of it. I felt confident walking in because I knew my labs, a lot of diseases and interventions, a lot of meds and contraindications. However for me it seems like nursing management was a lot of it which stinks. Everyones is different. I don't know, the exam I took seems like it wasn't the basics at all.
  11. I'm freaking out. I just took mine yesterday and tried the pearson vue trick. It says my results are on hold and I can not reschedule another test at this time. It's been over 24 hours and it's still on hold. I'm literally filled with anxiety. I got all of the questions (130) and it was THE HARDEST exam I've ever taken. I feel like the questions were stuff I didn't even study or learn in school. I used UWorld and listened to all of Mark Klimek. I sure hope I passed. I do NOT want to do that again!
