  1. Hello everyone, I need help with a decision and feel you all would have the best insight. I cannot decide between the lpn and rn program. 20 years ago, I began a bsn degree, but was unable to finish because of cancer. I'm now an amputee and missing part of my hip bone. I've asked a few Drs around here if I could even do nursing and they all said yes. I really want to. That's all I've ever wanted to do. I do have minor children and I'm currently working on my feet now. I do use a cane, but I can walk some distance without it. It's just easier with the cane. I'm so torn. I have no idea which would be best in my personal situation and I'm so hoping that someone can help me out and guide me down the best path. Thank you all for your time.
