Hi everyone! I've been following the thread and decided to jump in now. I got my acceptance email 10/15! They said I have to give them an answer by 10/26 or they'll give my spot to someone else. I'm still waiting on other Cal states I applied to so I could be possibly dropping out of my spot. To future applicants: don't give up! This is my second round applying to schools (first time applying to SMC though) and the process sucks but hang in there, it'll all work out!

I'm thinking about it. I'm going to try again for the spring term.

Did it say your letter was sent before that?

Has anyone else gotten a portal update?

I was thinking the same thing ... I was reading last years thread and it seems like they got a physical letter and didn't say anything about getting it through their portal..

What city do you live in? I'm in LA and I'm not sure if I'll get it tomorrow or Friday.

I just checked now and it says "decision letter sent 5/30/18" I'm so nervous I'm gunna throw up

Did anyone's portal change ?

The person that picked up didn't really have any information for me. All she could say is that they would be coming out "soon". But didn't know if it's this week or next week. She transferred me to a counselor but they didn't pick up

Which number have you guys been calling? I want to call on Monday and ask for an update.

Thanks for all the information @SFnursetobe12 ! Did you apply as a transfer ? And do you know how many transfers they take in/how large your class is ?

I don't think so, I was just curious. @jayaych where does it say "decision letter sent" on your portal?

Are you all checking your status through the portal they sent out right after you submitted the application? With the temporary pin? Or through something else?

I believe interviews are done for the masters program? That's my guess. Hopefully we hear back this week!

And last years thread did not mention an interview either
