  1. Hello I would like to.rerurn to school for practical nursing. The question is an I too old,I'm 55. But,I have extensive experience in the medical field,I am a certified phlebotomist of 15 years, and worked for the blood center for 10of.thise 15 years, I worked as a apheresis technician for 10,and 5 as a mobile blood phlebotomist. I.also worked on a nursing home assisting in handing out medications 25 years ago ,amd as a personal care aide.I have also taken courses in human anatomy, and I am a certified personal care aide. I have been told by so many friends and family, why don't you just go back to school and get your license, but I was hesitant, and fearful, that it would be too much for me now at 55. And even before then I was a bit afraid. I.have a very big advantage of most academically and have a lot of knowledge of the medical profession. Should I go for it?.what are the disadvantages? And what job can I obtain?and what are my chances of getting hired? Thank you anxiously awaiting your reply
