I've thought about being a midwife as well but I think I want to focus more on the birth and child rather than the mom although I would also like to help the mom and baby get aquatinted.

Honestly I've already watched birth on YouTube and it doesn't bother me. I actually find it fascinating. The video I watched involved a breach baby. Most things don't bother me even if they bother most other people.

Thank you so much for your response. I'm not sure if I could handle critical condition or high risk babies or mothers for that matter. I was thinking of getting my associates degree at the local tech schooo so I can stay home and get a job to save money. I talked to UIU today at a career fair and they said I could take some of their courses at the tech school and then within 6-8 months I could have my BSN. Do you think this is a good plan? I'm still undecided on what I want to do specifically but I have time.

Hi, I'm danielle, and I'm 15 years old. I know I want to for sure go into the medical field but I'm not sure where to go from there. I love babies with a passion and I have been thinking NNP for a while now but I have been opening my eyes to other options as well. I was thinking l&d nurse or something in that order. The process of birth and bringing people into the world amazes me. I want to pursue a career involving babies during birth and the care of them before they go home. Could someone help me narrow down what I want to do? I have heard of PAs and other careers similar but I'm not sure where I should look into. Can anyone help me? Your advice would be great too:)
