Cal State San Marcos ABSN summer 2018
Hi everyone. I calculated my points and I think I get 43 points if I choose to apply for the traditional BSN program. Do you guys know the points cut-off for the people who got accepted recently?

CSULB BSN Fall 2018
Hello you guys, I applied to CSULB after talking to a counselor and even told them that I still have to take microbiology in spring, but when I looked up on CSULB for the nursing application, I saw "All 8 Nursing prerequisite courses must be completed by the end of Fall 2017 if applying for Fall 2018 admission. Nursing prerequisite courses may not be in progress in Spring 2018 if applying for Fall 2018 admission. Exceptions will not be granted under any circumstances." Does this mean I can't apply?

Should I apply now?
Hi everyone. i'm a pre-nursing student and my original plan was to apply for schools and programs in fall 2018. however, recently, i've been getting doubts about if i should apply this semester or wait for the spring semester, or something like that. so far, i have a 4.0 gpa at the moment but still have microbiology to take as a final prereq. i'm taking the TEAs next week so i have that to wait for. but if i do well on the TEAs and maintain my 4.0 this semester is it worth it to apply now? i have these doubts because i have no hospital volunteering experience yet or haven't had a medical job. i've talked to a counselor and they advised me to apply but i still have my worries. one program i plan on applying to gives states that volunteer hours aren't a factor in the application but i know some of the other programs i plan on applying to gives extra points for people who have had volunteer/working experience in a clinical setting. so, at the moment, i'm conflicted between applying for fall 2018 after taking my TEAs or if i should hold out on applying and get volunteer hours/medical experience beforehand and apply a later semester.
