  1. Does Chamberlain offer weekend or evening classes for the BSN? I currently work Mon-Fri days. Thanks! In Atlanta?
  2. You never know. Don’t short yourself!!
  3. Lol. Good luck to everyone! It won’t be long before I will be looking forward to the acceptance email. Keep us posted when you do get in.
  4. Those sound great. I think they look at the sciences more when they have more applicants then the amount of open spots. I’m still on my pre reqs. A&P 1 have A in lecture and 85 in lab but hoping to pull the B to an A. Do you think it’s possible to take A&P 2 and microbiology together? I don’t want to take micro during the summer unless it’s easier to separate them. I hope you get in for spring. I would love to hear all about it.
  5. My paperwork says class size 20-25. Did you get all A’s in your science pre reqs? Also the non bridge ADN program says 30-40. So I’m thinking if they have a lot drop or fail that maybe they bump up the bridge numbers. We never know.
  6. I was assuming since applications are not due till Oct 10. So two weeks would be end of Oct
  7. I’m actually still doing pre reqs. I will apply for 2021. I assume you won’t find out until Nov since applications are due by October.
  8. It’s possible the bridge applicants are working and taking Pre reqs! Hopefully.
  9. Congratulations! I hope everything goes well for you.
  10. I hopefully will be applying to Spring LPN to ADN at Gwinnett Tech for 2021! If you get in let me know how it is. Are you currently working as an LPN?
  11. Congratulations to all of you and thank you for the input. I was thinking the sciences would be easy since I had Med Surg as an LPN but it appears they are still difficult but doable with hard work, I will make sure I keep my schedule flexible with these courses. Thanks for the info on the GPA and KAPLAN I will aim for those numbers.
  12. Thank you guys for your advice. I think I will try first getting into the ADN program and then try the LPN-ADN bridge just to have two options if they will allow it. I am currently an LPN and my GPA is currently 3.89 and so far I only need to take the biology classes!!
  13. Did anyone on this thread get into the LPN-RN bridge program at Gwinnett Tech? If so what were your scores?
  14. Hello, I am working on my prerequisites now for Fall 2020. Did any of you on this thread actually get into the program this year?
  15. No problem! Good luck. Im not sure what the negative comments are but I have high expectations and this is not my first career so I know that it's hard work putting together and scheduling the exact amount of hours for class in order to meet the state's requirements. I have not heard anything negative from the seniors whom are about to graduate from Forsyth, nor any of the freshman that I'm currently in class with.
  16. I am at the Forsyth location and we have a different director here that writes our schedule but they do follow the mock schedule on the website at least the classes. My first semester is spring and so far it's exciting and a lot of work. I am an A student but Medical Surgical is a little more difficult for me. This semester we are taking 4 classes. Pharmacology, Fundamentals, Clinical at nursing home (9 Monday's), Medical Surgical 1 (Cardiac, Respiratory, Hematological/Immunological) we only have 3 test in Med Surg and a final so you really have to get good grades in order to maintain or exceed the required "C" at the end of the semester. Summer semester we have only 8 weeks and the classes we are taking are Med Surg 2 and Med Surg 3 and Clinical at the hospital for 2 days 12 hour shifts.
  17. The program is awesome at the Forsyth location. I also heard mixed reviews before getting in but it's very organized and the instructors are really nice and very knowledgeable and good at what they do. I would recommend it to everyone.
  18. Sounds like you have good grades and an excellent Teas score. I hope to see you in the fall program. Good luck!
  19. 74 Teas I took it several times
  20. 3.89 and 74 TEAS
  21. A CNA is a nurse. CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT. Nothing wrong with your username. Good luck with your classes to become an LPN, I am also a future nurse here.
  22. Sorry to hear that. My sister got into at North Ga Technical College for PN. Maybe you can try there. Its too far for me to drive and they take the Hesi not the Teas
  23. I received my acceptance letter for PN at Forsyth location last week. I can't wait until the spring. My Teas score was not what I wanted it to be but I guess it was good enough. Anyone else get into the Spring 2018 program yet?
