I interviewed on 2/24- Tuesday!

I received my acceptance yesterday! The assistant program director called at around 9, and I got the email around noon. I missed both, of course, because I'm on a stretch of night shifts haha

I didn't ask the faculty, but asked the SRNAs as well; they said the same thing, within 1-2 weeks they received their acceptance via phone call or email! I'm assuming acceptances will hear back within that time frame and people waitlisted/denied will hear back in April.

No, haven't heard anything yet! Seems so late with the fact that interviews are supposed to be next month!

Not yet! But I think I remember the program director saying we should hear back before the holidays, so hopefully this week we all start to get some answers! Anyone else in the 12/16 session correct me if I heard it wrong, I do tend to forget things when I'm nervous haha

I included my shadowing experience on my NursingCAS application! Under the experiences section, I listed it as a patient/healthcare experience.

Not yet! After I submitted my application, I reached out to the enrollment advisor and asked about the typical timeline, and she said they typically send interview invitations in January.

That's how I interpreted it! But it is interesting that MWU hasn't posted about it anywhere online. Probably waiting until COA approves it.

Following up on my own comment (LOL), I was doing some more research on the school and found this on the Council on Accreditation's website.. "Midwestern University (MWU) is expanding its Nurse Anesthesia program from the Glendale, Arizona, campus to MWU Downers Grove, Illinois, in August 2026, pending approval from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). @Blossom.14 , I am just curious, have you heard anything about MWU wanting to open a CRNA program in their Illinois campus? Someone earlier in this thread mentioned it, but I haven't found anything online about it at all

From what I understand, you have to submit the initial application first (without transcripts, essay, or resume). After that, it will prompt you to access the application dashboard, and then the application summary , where you can upload the additional documents. I was able to upload everything pretty easily once the initial application was submitted, but that was a while ago.

Oh, I didn't know they held a virtual info session! Was it recorded anywhere? What did they talk about?
