1. So I'm guessing this will be just a manual email with the section number without any placement on my actual Sac State schedule?
2. I don't think anyone was placed yet. Current Sac State students will be placed on the 18th of December and transfer students on the 5th of January from what I was told.
3. Are you talking about the schedule/clinical placements?
4. I've been wondering the same thing. I decided to wait for the email with the checklist before I buy anything in case there's any specifics with brand, color, etc.
5. Yes correct, at this point all you have to do is pass the class to keep the score that you got accepted with. As long as you pass, your score will not be readjusted.
6. Great question. I'll be staying in the rocklin Loomis area
7. The last check mark you were required to check off before submitting the application was specifically talking about the fee.
8. Last semester alternate #43 got in. I wouldn't lose all hope yet. You never know how fast that list can move.
9. I'm in as well. Good luck to everyone on the alternate list. Class of Fall 2019!
10. I'm on the exact same boat. It will feel good knowing we're accepted so we can start preparing for the program. Gotta buy the uniforms, equipment, get the immunizations in check, etc.
11. Very good question I don't know the answer to! The intent to enroll is November 30, so someone who got accepted at another school who knows they won't be going to CSUS will probably decline within a day.
12. Looks like someone updated the website sometime this evening. Bottom of the page now says, "Spring 2018 Last Alternate Selected To Date - TBA"
13. Exactly. Now that the application was online, I assume people with only a slight interest in actually attending the program applied who are going to decline the acceptance letters once they go out. I was told by a friend that the few semesters she watched the wait lists, they would get up to the two digits within the first week.
14. I'm sure there were people who checked all four boxes that weren't even eligible for any of those 12 points.
15. For example my high school had 3 years of Spanish: Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Spanish 3. Each class was two semesters long.
16. +1 yes, technically that's 6 high school semesters.
17. I'm over here hoping they surprise us before the holiday
18. Is anyone by any chance going to the admissions advising session tomorrow? If so, let us know about any updates you might get from Teri.
19. I have a friend who unfortunately got one. He said it's the same as the update email plus the "you're below the cutoff score. "
20. LOL! Anyone with 100+ points would have gotten in every previous semester including this one. Last person to be admitted into every previous cohort had points in the 70's.
21. Looking back at the previous applicant pool statistics you can see that there is always about 10+ people "declined." At this point in the application process they have not declined those applicants. Once they thoroughly go through everyone's applications I have a feeling that score will drop a few points
22. I hope all of you are above that cutoff score! Update made my day.
23. Sorry, click on the pdf link
