Hey there! I'm looking to find some assistance in completing Chem through Portage. I've completed both the first module exam and the first lab exam and made a 90 and a 100. However, it definitely seems as though the content in each module gets much more difficult from here on out. I have about 2-3 weeks to complete the course and MUST have a B at the very minimum. I've tried searching for materials for this specific course on sites such as CourseHero and Chegg study, but I haven't had much luck. Hey Happy818! I'm assuming you must be in the program seeing as you have a lot of useful info. Would you be able to tell me a little about what my schedule might look like each week? For instance, is it Monday-Friday every week? Are Fridays always our clincical days? Etc.... Any useful information you might provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey TXLPC, I was hoping you could give me some insight on how the rest of the course went for you? I need to finish the course in about a month so any study materials or resources you might be able to provide would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for all of that information, I greatly appreciated. In reference to the hospital rotations at the end of the quarter, you mentioned that they were either Friday or Saturday. Does that mean that you were in class Mon-Thurs of those weeks? Also, were there breaks in between quarters/semesters?

Hey there, I apologize, as I am not able to provide you any useful information pertaining to Herzing's ASBN program, as I am also looking for information. I am currently considering both Herzing and ECPI. ECPI was looking better to me to due the shorter time frame for completion. I was hoping you may be able to give me insight on ECPI's program (pros & cons; anything that may be useful). Do you feel that you could succeed in that program if you were given another opportunity to attend and were better prepared the next time around?

Hello! I am assuming those of you in this thread are a good ways into the ABSN program at ECPI. I am applying to the July 2018 cohort and was hoping some of you may be able to provide some insight as far as scheduling and time management. For instance, I know the courses are completed in quarters....so is it like other programs where one quarter lasts about 2 and a half months and then there is a 2 week break before the start of the next quarter? Also, how many days a week have you found yourself on campus at the beginning of the quarter vs later in the quarter (in other words, does weekly schedule change as a quarter progresses)? Although these are specific questions, I would appreciate any and all information! Thanks (:

I've found all of this information to be extremely helpful. I am applying to the July 2018 cohort. I am currently taking 2 prereqs, Chem and A&P (my original chem was only 2 credits and I am retaking A&P to boost my science GPA) and hope to have them finished before the final application deadline of June 1st. Can anyone tell me if they think it is a good idea to go ahead and submit my application in an attempt to gain provisional acceptance? Or should I wait until my classes are complete? Also, one of the college advisers recommended that I retake those prereqs through Portage, as this would allow me to work at my own pace (and finish as quickly as possible). Has anyone had any experience with Portage, or are there other programs that you would recommend?

I'm also applying for the UNF Accelerated BSN for summer 2018. However, I'm a little concerned about my TEAS score, although it does surpass the minimum requirement. Does anyone have an idea of a ball park range of a score that they are looking for?

Spoke with the office today and was told that they have made a final decision on my application but they cannot tell me over the phone and I am unable to view it because they haven't been published yet. They said hopefully the decisions would be published sometime this week. This is very frustrating. At this point I'm fairly certain I haven't been accepted but it would be nice to know after all this time.

I still haven't heard anything and my application has been under review for nearly three weeks as well. This is very frustrating as we will have very little time to prepare arrangements if we are accepted. Hopefully we'll find out this week. Best of luck!

Hey guys! Has anyone that still had an application under review received a message in their canelink today? My application went under review Wednesday of last week and I am still waiting on a decision.
