  1. Chelsea, when I ordered I received a link that let me access the ebook on their website.
  2. @ mnewland Mine changed. Check yours again. Better late than never I suppose.
  3. Has anyone else been able to register that wasn't able to last week? I am still listed as pre-nursing and unable to register for classes.
  4. I was definitely freaking out trying to get everything done. Although that lead me to get much of it completed last week, I still have a few more things to do. If we have until the 11th I think I'll be doing by CPR certification at Clayton State.
  5. The next class at in Rockdale isn't until December 19th. They only do 1 per month. Clayton state has one December 8th. I'm looking at programs not listed because they really haven't given us enough time to complete with any of the ones I've looked at so far.
  6. Just got my acceptance letter but still can't register for classes, so that isn't the best indicator like slong said. Good luck everyone!
  7. This is pretty ridiculous. I with they would send an email to let us know that we're accepted with a letter as follow up with the paperwork. I can't understand why they wouldn't release this information to all of us simultaneously.
  8. @im_good I can't help too much because I just tend to be a good test taker. The fact that my mother was an English teacher and I read in my spare time helped me get 100 on the reading section. I looked up sample questions and studied my A&P notes the night before the test. I didn't buy any books, but I think for the reading section any SAT prep type of guide could be helpful. Maybe someone else who has the Kaplan book can tell you if it's worth it--if you haven't already used it. This quiz gave me some confidence too Would You Pass the Nursing School Entrance Exam? - Nursing Link
  9. @ Chelsea No. I haven't taken it yet. Where did you find that info? I would like to know what I need since there is not a lot of time. @ Mnewland Do you remember what the requirements are? Edited to add that I found the SON new admit checklist from last semester, so I guess all of that is basically the same for this semester.
  10. @ slong I sure hope so. It is going to be quite a mad dash to get all of the requirements done before December (immunizations, purchases, physical, etc.). I'm having a hard time being patient. Good luck everyone!
  11. @ mnewland That is interesting. I would not have expected that, so I can see why that would be confusing. I wonder why they didn't contact you. I know that CSU has a great nursing program, but this admissions process could be better.
  12. @TayM00 I agree with slong, I wore dress pants and a nice blouse. There's also a lot of info about interviews if you search on here.
  13. @ Chelsea My name starts with H and I received an email Thursday. @ Slong I hope it went well! I had mine today too and I think it went great. Congrats everyone who got an interview, good luck!
  14. @ naenae I was given the option of interviewing next Monday or Thursday, so I think they may go throughout next week. Also, don't get discouraged yet, I know of someone who is super qualified and she hasn't gotten an email yet. There's definitely still time. Hopefully everyone will get good news tomorrow!
  15. Yay! Just got my email for an interview! It came through my student email.
  16. Nothing here either. This is kind of bonkers.
  17. This wait is killing me! @Naenae thank you for calling them to find out. I'm sure a lot of us were feeling relieved to not get letters, but it's disappointing to know they haven't even been mailed yet. Good Luck everyone!
  18. Nothing here either. I've been trying to keep my phone on me in case they call, but the wait is nerve wracking. 2 weeks feels like a long window to wait for such an important phone call.
  19. You may have already looked into this, but have you checked to see how long a BSN program would take? I also have a BA in psychology and the nursing program I'm going into takes 4 semesters (including summer). I have had to spend a year taking prerequisites, but I imagine you have already completed all of those.
  20. @mnewland I feel your pain, my 2007 grades were my worst. I have a daughter and it's definitely a different experience going back to school as a parent. I want to get this going so I can start working in a real career as well. I hope you get accepted this time.
  21. @Jmart11 I noticed that too. I was kind of frustrated that there's very little information available. I would love to know that everything made it there and my application is under advisement. I only applied to CSU as well. I read the threads from spring 2017 and 2016 and there was nearly a months difference between when they heard about interviews. Waiting is probably the worst part, especially when you don't have a clue when you'll hear back.
  22. Thank you, I've been been back in school for a year and I'm thankful my grades were pretty good the first time around. Good luck everyone!
  23. Hey everyone! This is my first time applying as well. I made a 91 on the Knat, my overall GPA is a 3.5 and my M/S is a 3.7. I have completed all of the prerequisites and I'm currently taking nursing electives. I'm really excited to hear about interviews and get started.
