  1. They wait list applicants, so that might have something to do with why you need to put down your deposit so soon! I'm not sure if Heath Insuramce is available, I would contact them about that! I already have health insurance so I don't need to worry about it! You can take the bible courses online before we get into the program at American Public University (they are online classes). A bunch of us goin are enrolled in them! I am looking at apartments in the midtown/downtown area that is so pretty close to the school! Housing you can easily look up online at various websites :)
  2. I emailed someone at Belmont and they said there will be an orientation, most likely in June, and they will send out information once the date and plans are finalized. :)
  3. I don't think it's actually an orientation. I am pretty sure those dates are just for prospective students and they give you a tour of the facilities along with information about the absn program.
  4. I think around 45 usually
  5. i'm from Pittsburgh!
  6. Yeah I have only heard great things about Belmont! Are you from Tennessee?
  7. What other programs did you apply to?
  8. You just have to look at the tuition cost for one semester and multiply it by four semesters!
  9. Finally got my acceptance today to Belmont!! :) So excited!!
  10. I applied for regular admission not priority!
  11. I'm not positive but I think if you don't get selected for priority admission then you will find out if you got in or not at the normal time! I swear I read that somewhere a while ago! I would just look at their website to see if you are able to find something!! good luck!!
  12. If you are missing prereq's and already sent your transcript in I would send in another one if you had prequesites from this semester...are you already accepted?
  13. When you apply somewhere for early admission, it is typically a binding decisions, meaning, if they accept, you have to attend. Usually they say that in a priority application to let you know that's how it works. If you are applying for regular admission you should hear late february/early march, since they do not start looking at applications until jan 8th for regular admission.
  14. Yeah that is awesome that they were so quick to respond...thank you!! :)
  15. Literally just sent in my application! So nervous!!
  16. Brhea3, How long did it take Belmont to accept you? Did you have to wait a few months?
  17. Brhea3, what was your GPA when applying? Also, you can take the classes at community college! Or probably community college offers at least one of them.
  18. Did you include your resume in you application? I uploaded all of my experiences and all the stuff just right into the application, but I wasn't sure if I should include my resume as well, since it will just have all the same things on it.
  19. I meant GPA* not gap haha
  20. what was your gap from undergrad? and when did you apply? I am sending in my application tomorrow but was just wondering how long it took for you to hear back!
  21. Yes, it is accredited. I heard nothing but great things from people that went through their nursing program, as well as, what I have read online. Nashville is a great city in general, but I know the Belmont Area is extremely nice from what I have heard. I am not sure how religious it is, but I do not think it would affect academics; however, you do have to take 6 credits of religion to apply. At least 3 must be completed before you matriculate into the program. I chose to apply to this school, because I have all the prereq's without having to take several extra classes. What other programs are you applying to?
  22. No, I would not worry about test scores. I do not think it would impact your admission at all, since it is not required! :) From the website, I get the impression that your GPA is the biggest deciding factor of admission and then the supplemental materials, such as letters of rec, are the last items to be considered. Hope this helps.
  23. have applied to any other programs?
  24. You don't have bad stats! I am around the same I have a 3.6 and probably around the same prereq GPA but I have a 4.0 in my science prereq's so hopefully that'll help a little! Are you from South Carolina I know that helps a little too, I am not from SC though and I have minimal volunteer experience around 50 hrs.
  25. Same I am nervous as well! What's your GPA and major from undergrad? Also, are you applying to any other schools?
