I have submitted my application 09/11/18. Still waiting for a decision!

My interview lasted about 45-50 minutes. My interviewer was very sweet and kind! They asked me questions like why nursing, what experience or volunteer work do you have, if I am planning on working during the program, how do I deal with stressful situations, how do I study, how do I push myself intellectually, how did I hear about their program, what do I like about their program ect. After answering questions I have asked questions that were answered as well. Towards the end we were just talking about what is nearby the school like grocery stores ect had a good laugh together. All of my answers and concerns were pretty much answered. It was easy going and nice! She was really friendly. We had a good time talking to one another. Yes I received an early interview maybe because I applied early, I am not completely sure. I do not think we will hear back till end of January / February.

Nope ! I called them last week maybe Thursday, the advisor told me that they are starting this week to review applications and send out decisions but they also told me that April 27th. So no clue :/

I thought it was just me lol when I emailed them they told me they are starting to review all applications that was 2 weeks ago

Hello! Has anyone applied to NYIT fall 2018/spring 2019 bachelor of nursing program and received a decision already? I checked the fall 2018 post a person received a decision early April. I am still waiting on mine getting nervous. I applied back in February and when checking application status it shows my application is under review for the past month already. I am also attending preview day... I am thinking of calling the admissions tomorrow and ask them when do they usually send out the decisions. If anyone heard or got anything please let me know :) Thanks!

Last cycle they sent out decisions every Fridays at 8 AM. That's how it been since the cycles before that as well when I looked for the past cycles. They changed it up this cycle no idea why. The wait is real lol.

I am waiting for the office to open to ask them about the authorization and see what happens.

No I have not. But last cycle I randomly logged onto my albert and got a decision, only received the email 2 weeks later. Thank you ! :)

hm.. I just did that I do not see the admission decision box at the top right hand corner. All I see is: "First year Regular Decision applicants, please see our decision instructions page to check your admissions decision. If you see a purple button above, you can access your decision here." So when I click the decision instructions and try to access the portal to see anything I get to a page saying my account is not authorized. So maybe a decision was not made yet even though I applied first week of February. The page has changed since last cycle. I think I will call the admissions office like the IT desk told me and see what happens! Thanks for the response :)

Yes I have applied in the spring but got denied the letter stated there were too many applicants in the pool. I got into two other programs but I did not want to relocate.

I called the IT they told me they cannot do anything and need to call admissions and they will tell me the decision which is weird because I did not think it is allowed to give a decision over the phone.. i do not understand if a decision was made or not and am hoping it is not bad

For those who got accepted, I applied for early decision, where did you find your decision on albert?

So I am trying to access my decision but when i click "our online portal" i get to a page that says "The account '______' is not authorized." has anyone else encountered this ? What does this mean

I have applied for the 15 month program. I submitted my application yesterday and received an Alberts Login today. Have over 300 hours volunteer work in the ER and ICU, shadowing, and work experiences in the medical field within 3-4 years. I have a BA in psychology. I have friends who had GPA over 3.5-3.8 that got denied for the ABSN program, and heard people with GPA of 2.6-2.9 got in.. we just have to wait and see what happens

Hopefully we hear back tomorrow so nervous ugh
