So I was debating going back to school for nursing for a while now, but was always told that the GI Bill wouldn't pay for another bachelor's degree. I just spoke with the VA and they informed me that since I have time left on the GI Bill I can use it for whatever I want. I'm currently working full time in the mortgage field, hold a bachelor's in business intelligence, and I'm a prior Corpsman in the Navy. I was wondering if there are any online ABSN programs out there where I can do online classes, but knock out my clinicals at a local medical facility. I was looking at UTA, but from what I understand you have to be located in Texas to do the program. Does anyone know of any programs like this in NC or SC? I was even looking at getting my ADN, but I only have 19 months left on the GI Bill and working full time makes it hard to do anything but night classes. On top of that the only college I'm around that offers it has a 1+ year wait. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
