Im guessing they will tell us. You could always call and ask a health advisor to make sure. The lady that called me said they would send out emails today with more info on where to go on the 15th. Anyone receive anything yet?

May I ask why your so set on going to UNLV? I missed the deadline for NSC and wasn't able to apply but I would be super excited if I got accepted! I actually have a friend who dropped out of UNLV and transferred to NSC. He loves it the there actually lol I'm not sure whose program is better but either way you shouldnt be nervous about getting in when your starting nursing school regardless if you get into unlv!!

Thursday ? They didn't have a signing session on Friday due to Nevada day. Niether do I but I have faith we will get accepted!

Yah it was a lot of people. My session was at 1pm! I had not idea that there was different times!

Thursday was since it was Nevada day On Friday.

I looked to see when they started making calls for last spring and they started on the 2nd of November. Their contract signing was on the 9th though, so I'm not sure if they will take longer since ours is the 14 and 15th. Im just trying not to think about it but this forum is too quiet and it scares me just a little bit !

I really hope it's not as competitive! It will be my first time applying and I'm super nervous! I still have to take my Hesi and I'm hoping to score high so that I can apply with a competitive score!

Anyone know how competitive spring session is? This forum seems really quiet compared to the others.

Any advice on what to study for the reading section? Im taking my hesi in October and I'm stressing out over the reading and English sections! These 2 subjects are my weakness for sure. I have to score high on my hesi to even have a chance to get in for spring!

Hello everyone! I'm still undecided if I will be applying for Fall! I have yet to take my Hesi but I've calculated my points and I have to get at least a 97 on each section to apply with at least 94.29 points. A 97 on each section seems impossible! The Hesi legit scares me and I have no idea why. The material on the review guide seems pretty straightforward but I've never been the type to do amazing on these test which is whats probably freaking me out and not to mention that we only get two tries. I wanted to retake one of the bios but I feel like it wouldn't be worth the headache or really make a big difference since I got a B+ the first time. If any of you have some tips on studying for the Hesi (study schedule, study guides) or suggestions on increasing my points please share! I feel like at this point my best bet is to studying as much as I can to try and get a perfect score. Heres a list of the grades I've received so far on the first attempt except for on Bio251: Bio223:B+ Bio224:B+ Bio251:A- Chem108:A- Nurs299:A- Math120:A

Are any of the vocab from the recommended study book in the hesi exam ? I noticed there was a section for vocabulary in there but I wasn't sure if that was part of the grammar Section. I take my hesi on the 1st and have my signing session on the 2nd ! Super nervous about the hesi tho !

Does anyone know how long you have to wait before retaking the hesi? I'm supposed to take it on the 30th of this month and I'm super nervous! I need to like get almost a perfect score to have a chance of getting in! I have 49.954 points without the hesi. I have my signing session feb 2nd.

I will also be applying for spring ! I will be taking the Hesi soon but I'm super nervous about it. My grades are pretty good and I will be applying with all A's and two B+. Hopefully I do well on the Hesi since that all I have left to do. Any adive of how to do amazing on it ?
