  1. Greetings people, I am a fellow future nurse (hopefully) and I got my self in a little dilemma. This is the last semester of prerequisites at my community college. I am currently taking A&P 1, A&P 2, statistics, and technical writing. My parents are pressuring me to apply to at least 5 nursing schools for the spring 2018 semester but I argued that I am not finished with my courses yet and I won't be accepted. The truth is that I done really bad on some of my prerequisites and of the 4 classes I am taking this semester 3 of them are retakes. In my first attempt, I got a C in technical writing and statistics, and a D on A&P 1. But the time I took those classes I work 20 hours a week and took 15 and 17 credit hour semesters. Now I am only taking 14 credit hours and I quit my job, I am more determined to get A on every course. My overall GPA is 3.1 right now, and I have A in chemistry, microbiology, a D in A&P 1 that I am retaking. If I get all As this semester my gpa would raise to 3.74 with a science gpa of 4.0. Should I listen to my parents and apply to 5 nursing schools and probably not getting accepted or finish this semester then apply.
