  1. Got an offer for RPN at Mohawk for January in the mail today.. I'm currently debating back and forth between Mohawk and Niagara (mostly because the Niagara program is an evenings only program which would mean that I can keep my current job while in school), but I will figure it out soon.
  2. The only problem with Niagara's program for me is that it is 2 years instead of the potential 1 year e through the PSW-RPN bridge so..
  3. Nothing new from my end.. I did end up accepting the offer at Niagara but still playing the waiting list with Mohawk. I'm contemplating just going with the offer at Niagara though as it is a modified program that has classes in the evenings which would allow me to work and not owe as much at the end of everything but I don't know.. I'll figure it out if/when I hear back from Mohawk.
  4. Apparently I had applied too late for equal consideration, so I get to wait longer to see if there is a chance that i might possibly get in (waitlist is fun).. I have an offer from Niagara that expires at the end of the week so I dont know if I should accept it and then hope that Mohawk gets back to me regarding the wait list or just have faith that I get into Mohawk from the wait list and just turn down Niagara's offer.
  5. I was wondering if there is anyone else on here who was accepted to the Niagara College - Practical Nursing Alternative Delivery option, and would maybe know more as to how the program works. I'd love to chat with others who have been accepted to it to see who's doing this program through this option.
  6. What I got through the automated system is that the PSW-RPN bridge students offers are still set to go out before the end of the month (so maybe tomorrow), and that the RPN offers have already gone out. Now to play the waiting game hoping that I got into the bridge (which is the one I would prefer anyways)
  7. At this point I have not recieved an offer and My Application Status is still showing nothing for January. I am going to email the school to see if there are any updates.
  8. I'm not sure the average required. My final GPA for the PSW program was 4.18 though which hopefully will help. At this point it's just the lovely waiting game for us :)
  9. I'm still playing the waiting game after applying for the PSW-RPN Bridge program at Mohawk as well as the RPN program. I did get accepted to the alternative delivery program for RPN at Niagara, but am hoping to get into the bridging program at Mohawk. I am a recent graduate of the Personal Support Worker program, in which I decided to continue into nursing after completing my first semester of the PSW program.
